  1. Thanks for the info. My grip already has a silicone carbide texture but I’m thinking about trying it. I’ve reduced Glock grips before and that’s easy so this should be no different. I didn’t realize that a quite a few people had this issue too.

  2. Hey guys I have a legion that i plan to shoot CO with in the near future. I’ve put a couple hundred rounds through it so far and I’m thinking about reducing the grip a small amount on the upper left side. When drawing it and shooting I don’t feel as comfortable as I should. It digs in to my strong hand (rh) thumb. Has anyone had this issue and resolved it by removing material?
I’m thinking descent sand paper and a vise should solve it for me  but wanted to see it anyone has done this.

  3. I’ve been debating whether or not to just get out of competitive shooting. I’ve got a descent supply of components but the way things are going now days I’m not doing much live fire training because I don’t want to deplete my supply. Not being able to practice as much sucks.  I’ve been thinking about getting back into golf. Before kids and uspsa I was a descent golfer so it makes sense and plus I could knock it around by myself and wouldn’t have to depend on matches once or twice a month to compete.

Hopefully a redesigned comp that isn’t a stolen sv design, also a comp that doesn’t come loose and crack after a couple month use and better gunsmithing. My chaos has been back 3 times and every time has come back and had the same issue a couple weeks later(loose comp and comp strikes). Also my link pin falls out and barrel rotates in lockup.  Atlas was zero help.   Do yourself a favor don’t buy from atlas

My link pin on one of mine falls out too.
    pisses me off.

  5. I’ve had the barrel link pin come loose in mine from not being staked very well. It would work itself loose on one side and cause issues. Also had the guide rod not stay seated against the barrel and that caused a similar issue.

  6. I would just apply the pro grip to the weak hand and the oppposite side of palm on strong hand where the two meet. I don't need that much when I use it. Once applied to both palms and fingers it's hard to correct a slightly incorrect grip after the beep.

  7. Thank you for the advice guys !
we’re driving down from Mississippi Saturday the7th. I asked if I could bring my gear but Unfortunately I can’t.  It’s a family trip so I gotta do family stuff. Thanks for the offer george16 and I’ll keep that in mind when I travel back your way.

  8. We are headed to Disney in A couple days. On our off days I plan to drive to the beach. I’m thinking of Melbourne, cocoa beach or Jacksonville.  I’m used  to the water and beaches in destin so I know the beaches and water won’t be the same. Which location listed above will be the best place to visit ?

  9. I'm interested in the black electroless nickel that twin city plating offers. I looked on their sight but didn't see prices. The slide above^ looks really good even though I normally don't like hard chrome type finishes. I wonder if refinishing later is labor intensive.

  10. I like the evo but I’ve heard some talk lately from gun builders that the lsi grip is the best one out. I haven’t seen one yet. Evo was/is a great product. Cheely is good too but requires a cheely proprietary magwell which a deal breaker for me.

And that's all well and good until it slips and starts to double.

I’m not sure what you mean. I’ve had the adjustable sear in at least 5 guns and thousands of rounds and it’s never doubled. Most people get the adjustable sear so they won’t need to fit an expensive safety and possibly screw it up. The sear is around 30$ so it’s way cheaper if you mess it up. The only difference that I’m aware of is a set screw that interfaces the safety.

  12. I have the set up in two shadow 2’s. I don’t think the rrk is totally necessary for someone with average to large hands. I do see how it can help with shorter fingers. I like the adjustable sear because I can set it stiff on the safety so as not to unintentionally activate it but still pass safety check.

If I were ordering parts for a new s2 I’d get new springs, ext fp, old style 85 trigger, and a Comp hammer. With the rrk the disco is pretty much fit so you won’t have to do much to it, at least I didn’t.

One thing I didn’t like was the reduced power trs. It made for a mushy trigger and reset wasn’t as tactile as I’d like.

Im sure I forgot something but others will chime in.
