Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. They told me 6-8 weeks when i ordered in July. Never saw a barrel
  2. I HATE combo dies. They are a real PITA to get set up and are affected by more factors than the seperate dies. If your cases are not trimmed EXACTLY the same, you will have issues with the crimp. Also if you use bullets that are not cannelured, your more likely to crush the case before you get any kind of decent crimp. I use LEE seating and factory crimp die. If you prep brass separately on the 1050 you can free up some stations, but toolheads arnt cheap!
  3. This is how i look all the time. CRKT M16-10Z in the front pocket. Ruger SR9c in the back pocket and CRSpeed inner belt i wear everyday. (the velcro works as im allergic to most metals in belt buckles and will get a rash.
  4. funny there is a public range near by with NO staff and it operates like that. just make sure the guys at the very end each side understand someone is going downrange. being a 300 yard range, we would say what range we were going to so they know where to look for someone before going hot. if that seems too dangerous then stick to your indoor lanes. simple as that.
  5. Its New York..im pretty sure she (and any crimminal) is safe
  6. Rule of thumb. When you go to the supermarket, stick to the parameter and think of the inside isles as containing "the bad stuff" lol
  7. I LOVE mine! It is the best thing ever because it was free
  8. Holsterwear is sexy! And lets be honest, those ugly glocks need some sexy every now and then
  9. Go to a 3-gun match and kiss "not having fun" goodbye. I never went to another uspsa match after my first 3-gun match
  10. Actually the title says first "Gun" In that case, I first ever competed in a skeet match when i was 8 years old with a 28" Remington 870 express. You heard that right, 8 years old with a 12 guage Like a glock, I think we all know what an 870 looks like. I still have the gun but it now wears an 18" barrel and a pistol grip. lol
  11. I shot my first match with my carry gun. Ruger SR9C in L minor Still carry it to this day
  12. sure 7 inches it may dissipate but if your finger is on the crimp of the shell going into the loading port + the variable pressures with each powder/load/detonation strength, i see a chance for hospital trip or at minimum an owie and a DQ. Of course Id rather not run dry to begin with but Im not taking mine off either way.
  13. Dont tell me you're one of those guys that go from the press straight to the range bag without any final inspection. If you are seating primers upside down, you should be finding the issue WAY before match time.
