Been training for PCC for about 3500 rounds now; I'm voting for the CZ Scorpion. Mags are cheap and available, the ergos are good for me, and the gun just runs and runs and runs.
Trigger is sub-par, but has gotten a little bit better with use.
I press the trigger and get what seems like a light strike.
Primary malf clearance typically resulted in a FT extract.
Get it sorted out and there's no strike on the primer.
Happened 13 times out of about 150 rds.
I've shot a ton of frangible over the years and never had problems with it. My assumption was that if it ran on my reloads it should be fine.
I get a "sense" that the round is not going fully into battery, hence the lack of firing pin mark on the primer.
Anybody shooting frangible ammo through one of these guns?
Put 150 rds of American Eagle through it.........no problem.
Put 150 rds of my crap reloaded ammo through it.........no problem.
Put about 100 rds of gov contract frangible ammo through it and no bueno.
I was, but asked to get bumped back down to "M" to reflect my true performance level.
Still looking to hear from a counselor or psychologist..............
I recieved a check in the mail today for $42. It was mailed Oct 2 to my old address....it arrived at my new house today.
I have no idea what the check is for; there's nothing in my forum messages that provides a clue.
If the sender of the check sees this please PM me and tell me what Im supposed to be sending you.
Thanks
I've got a stuck casing in the depriming station on my Square Deal B.
Tried some monkey methods of prying it out with no luck. Not sure if that first die even comes out.
Help a brotha out; I'm dead in the water until it's fixed.
If it's a polymer grip and you have an extremely tight grip this could be a causative factor as well. This is especially true if you have done ANY modifications/undercuts to the polymer grip.
I would like to correspond with someone who has serious experience in conducting competitive/promotional interviews.
Someone with gov't experience would be great, but not required.
Konkapot is an Indian character in a book of historical fiction by Kenneth Roberts.
The book covers the French and Indian War, and is one of the best books ever written.
What we've noticed recently is that it's not the raw numbers of how many are on a squad, but more a matter of "who" is on the squad.
A bunch of workers/tapers/score keepers? Stuff's gonna happen, and they'll be done with their last stage torn down by 1pm.
A bunch of 2 cylinder people who can barely pick up brass? They're still shooting hours after the other squads are loooooooooooooong gone.
I'll take a squad of 12 studs over a squad of 8 window lickers any day.
I had one come with that slot milled/cut way too small. I....very very gently....tried to open it up with a small file. Bottom piece broke off and looked just like yours.
"Fortunately" it was cracked in the usual places. Sent it back to STI and they sent me another new one.
