Is there any workplace recourse for refusing to interact with an employee in matters unrelated to the job?
If you're really worried about it, check with HR and review the company's conduct code.
Regardless of how you conduct yourself, if this guy wants to make trouble for you, there are plenty of lawyers willing to twist the truth into something "inappropriate" with you as their prime target.

I had just left NYC. I was there helping my brother move.
I saw the WTC for the first and only time just a few days before the attack.

Bought from them once, sale went off perfectly.
Same here.

Why not ask them?

let us know what they say,
They are both on this forum. You could just send them a PM. I made an inquiry once via PM to Dave, and he responded right away. Bob is also very approachable.

It's no advantage for them at their level.

Would IDPA benefit from a div that specify guns in the same class as a G19?
No. Carry guns have absolutely no place in IDPA competitions.

Titegroup sucks.

I consider TGO above the law. If he does it, then it's ok with me.

I'm trying to be a good boy so I deleted my 1050 comments. Obviously, I'm not a fan of the machine.

We're getting close! Our pre-flight meeting is on 9/11 and we head to DC on the 14th. I'm not sure what to expect, but I know it's going to be cool.

He and Wynton do a duo type thing at a Blues House I saw on youtube that was pretty cool.

You're going to have some MD's allow it, some won't. If you're going to shoot that gun at a match, get one of those rubber wrap around grips when you run into the MD that won't allow this frame mod.

Good luck to Dave in whatever avenue he pursues.
A true champion and gentleman.

bushing wrench
a set of punches and a small hammer
a roll of duct tape (I place my frame on it when I'm punching the mainspring housing pin out)
small screwdriver to take out the mag release
allen wrenches
If you have a fiber optic front, you'll need a lighter and something to cut the rod
Enos' slide glide and oil
spare parts: an extra fitted extractor, main springs, recoil springs, plunger tube springs
That'll get you started. By the way, awesome first 1911!

A few of my favorites:
"Repetition is no fun until its the reason we won!" Billy Joe Brockhouse
"Talent is God given. Be humble. Fame is man-given. Be grateful. Conceit is self-given. Be careful." John Wooden
"The name on the front of the jersey is alot more important than the name on the back".
"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed." Michael Jordan
"If you ask me how I want to be remembered, it is as a winner. You know what a winner is? A winner is somebody who has given his best effort, who has tried the hardest they possibly can, who has utilized every ounce of energy and strength within them to accomplish something. It doesn't mean that they accomplished it or failed, it means that they've given it their best. That's a winner." Walter Payton
"Beware the fury of a patient man."
"we did not lose that game......we ran out of time."
"Far and away the best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing." I think Theodore Roosevelt said this.
"The expert in anything was once a beginner."
"The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses—behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights." Muhammad Ali
"The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph."

Les Baer uses Kart barrels. (I am 99.9% sure that is an accurate statement)
I asked Doug Koenig several years ago who made the most accurate .45 barrel. He's done a lot of testing with a fixture Cominolli made and the Kart barrel is the most accurate .45 ACP barrel.

This will be my first trip, and I'm not entirely sure what to expect. I just feel like it's something I should do. Since these Vets are getting up there in age, there is always a (potential) need for physicians on these trips. The gentleman that called me at my home tonight sounded genuinely thankful that I had applied to go with them. I'm the one that should be thanking them. This is a great honor for me, and I am feeling pride I've never felt before. I don't know how to explain it.
I think this will be a trip I will never forget.
