I would guesstimate about 1mm. To me it would make sense to prevent jams and allow for heat expansion which could cause the slide to bind. I may have to order the front block and change it out my self just to see. After reading about the poor customer service of EAA this iawhat i may do.

Hello everybody, I just recently picked up a polymer witness. Upon further inspection I noticed vertical play in the slide to frame fit. There is no play in the side to side. Is this common or should I get E.A.A. to repair it? It just seems odd. 1911's do it but i dont believe witnesses are supossed to.
