  1. So I got the MOA special with the +10 tube. Where can you find a gun case big enough to fit it?
  2. I'm hoping to RO this match. Either way I'm going to be there.
  3. 3gun. Also theres no reason this gun cant run major.
  4. Phase 1: Win an used xdm 4.5" 9mm auction for $390. Check. Phase 2: Save up the scratch to send it to Scott Springer for him to work his magic. Buffering... Phase 3: ????? Phase 4: PROFIT!!!
  5. You mean you read only 4 or 5 times. or is that just this week? I am constantly looking at things and thumbing through the rule book. Scripture is easier to remember than uspsa rulebook. Between my work schedule AND a 10 month old, I dont have a lot of time to read AND concentrate.
  6. As a freshly minted RO, this post has been a great read. Here's to not screwing up too bad at my first first one in June.
  7. Ive already got mine spiral bound for easier access. And ive read it thoroughly 4 or 5 times.
  8. This is exactly why I hate asking for advice on this forum. Everybody is always ready to tell you youre cheap or youre wrong. Apparently nobody on this damn site remembers what it was like to start out on a budget.
  9. I have a question for the 3gun open shooters. How many of you actually use a second optic/red dot on your rifle, and what is a decent one on a budget for a newish 3gunner. And by budget I mean $100-150.
  10. Nope. God knows who, what, when, where, why and how EVERYTHING is. Therefore God is a Nurse, or a Master Sergeant.
  11. See if you can find one that replaces the firing pin stop. They make them for poly guns that replace the striker plate, MAYBE somebody makes one for a 1911.
  12. Tske the RO class and pass a written and demonstration test. If you look on USPSA website, under NROI, there is a list of seminars.
  13. Thanks Sarge. I figured it was a good way to help out and gain knowledge, meet a lot more people and maybe make some friendships.
  14. Im right handed and started going r2l. But sometimes you start on the left so I started practicing to where I can go either way with the same proficiency.
  15. I think its more personal preference and what feels better for you mechanically. For ME, it feels more natural with the bullets facing forward than out.
  16. I don't have any experience with CK. I have a PT grip and frame. Its a great product. They were great to deal with customer service wise. I have spoken with PT at matches and what not and they seem genuinely nice in person. I may use CK in the future if I ever get another gun, we'll have to wait and see.
  17. As of USPSA's update today, I am officially a certified Range Officer. I am excited.
  18. Mine is a masonic reference "widowsson" and birthdate 6-83. Unfortunately it kinda became prophetic last October when my dad, the reason I bacame a Mason, passed away from Mesothelioma.
  19. My plan is to use it for my main and my ql8 for a back up, plus a few 4 shell caddies for slugs if I need them.
  20. Has anybody ordered one? How are they? How long did it take to ship? Pros and cons?
  21. Im with RangerTrace. If you are buying out that much just because they have it, then YOU are part of the problem. People like you are the reason ive had a 650 for almost 2 years and have only loaded a few hundred rounds because there is no powder.
