  2. contact me via email and I'll get you a direct number... dj@practiscore.com
  3. One of my competition rifles in 2016 had the Gibbz Arms Side charging upper on it. Every gun getting built for 2017 will have their side charging upper also. I am sold, no need to break cheek weld to run the bolt, no gas blowback (even with suppressor). IT is truly a game changer for me. Gibbz
  4. El Guapo says "Us Open shooters" but he changes divisions about every quarter. So depending on which quarter the match is he may or may not be an Open shooter. I will be there in all my Openness. Pandas.....Hmmmm, I know a guy. Says they like Bushwackers.
  5. So what about this Major/Minor power factory malarkey??? I get to shoot powderpuff 135pf if I shoot 9 but have to make big power if I bring a .40? So why would I bring a .40? Besides that it's more manly? Is minor scored more punitively and must the minor shooter wear a tutu? And, will there be Bushwackers served after the match?
  6. I'm pretty sure by this copied post from said shooters Facebook Page he is ok with it all. That's the kind of stand up guy he is. Plus he has more Benelli's than any one single person in the universe..... "I would like to thank God, all my sponsors, and Diana and Laurence for being some of the best travel partners I've ever had. I was able to get a win in the Open division, and I'd like to give a shout out to Greg Jordan and Brian Nelson for shooting like raging death-stalkers as always. I'd also like to give a shout out to Team Benelli's Dianna Liedorff Muller for winning female Tac Optics and for Diana Hufstedler for wining female Open. Also I would like to thank Lisa Marie Judy and Mark Roth for salvaging a PMAG and a stripped Double Star lower for me off the prize table, because I was a little late and missed out on a Benelli shotguns M2 and some other killer prizes. Thank you to Nate and Nick Noble and all of their staff, especially Linda Chico for putting on great matches like the Brownells, Inc. Pro/Am 3-Gun Championship at Rockcastle Shooting Center. "
  7. April 18th is coming up fast and the Tennessee 3 Gun Series, by Mossberg is getting ready to start. We have shooters from Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama and Georgia participating and there is still time to join up! Here is a little more info from our Facebook page to help out. Attention Tennessee 3 Gun Series shooters......and all the rest of you. Originally Registration to join the series was to be closed at this point. I have decided to leave it open until Sunday April 5th at 8p.m. CST. Many of us 3 Gunners are a procrastinating lot and I thought this might help. Currently we do have so shooting slots available. Here on this FB page we have almost 400 members who are interested in what we are doing. I realize some of you are from far away and could never participate in our Series. But, Some of you are from here in Tennessee and neighboring states. I would like to challenge you!!!! To join us for fun and camaraderie in shooting 3 Gun. The Match Directors will be pulling out all the stops to put on great matches. Running through the woods, Flying targets, Spinning targets, 500 yard rifle shots. What more could a true 3 gunner ask for? The Sponsors are sending great prizes for us to give away at each match and even more stuff to earn and win at the end of the series shootout. Come on out and win a Mossberg Rifle at each Series Match!!!!!!!!!! For you shooters currently signed up to shoot. Registration for Match #1 held in Jackson TN. on April 18th will begin this coming Monday April 6th at 7 p.m. CST. Good Luck and Great Shooting!!!!! DJ Petrou
  8. Magazines are easily blocked. The 75 mm from body does not apply to open. If we can do that most of us should be good to go. The rule just didn't sound like that would be allowed. I like it. OMG, two 18 rounders, 2 10 rounders hanging on my body......I will need a mag valet.
  9. 7.62, International Practical Shooting Confederation PO Box 972, Oakville, Ontario, Canada L6K 0B1
  10. Mark, Yes I did. From the rule appendix; "Detachable magazines accessible to a competitor during a COF must not contain more than 10 rounds at the Start Signal. However, detachable magazines with an original maximum capacity of up to 12 rounds are permitted." My mags are 18's, also I can't hang them feed lips down on a belt and when they are horizontal they protrude 12,0000000 mm. LOL If you can help with ideas that are doable that would be great! This is all new and very strange to have restrictive limitations in Open.......Thank You Canada
  11. Wow, as an open 3 gun shooter this is disappointing.... I'll have to shelve all my normal mags and go purchase minimum of 4 more 10 round mags and figure how to carry at least 5 mags on the body. This year the Outlaw guys are truly the Open guys. *pause* Just checked my mags with kydex belt hooks and they protrude 80mm off my body. So I'm illegal no matter if I spend an extra $300 on mags or not.
  12. Someone is going to take home some Black Gold at every T3GS match!!!! Thanks Chandler LaFrain and Black Bullets International for Supporting the shooters of T3GS!!!!
  13. Paul, Great to have you join us!!! After 2 days of registration we are happy to say we are 60% of the way toward having filled all the shooting slots. We are looking forward to shooting with all the club 3 gunners out there who are looking for a challenge. Who want to shoot longer course of fires. (No 15 second stages here!) And who look forward to a little good old competition at a club level. Will there be prizes? Heck Yes, but there is no prize table. All prizes will be random draw so no matter your skill level you can win!!!! Oh, did you want to beat someone to win??? Then qualify for the end of the year shoot offs. There you will try and beat your buddies in a head to head format for awards and prizes! Come on out and shoot with us. Here in TN we know 3 Gun!!!

  15. It was a long day in and out of the rain at a 3 gun match today. Then during the drive home I get a text from ElGuapo ( who stayed in bed due to rain chance) and a FB message from Bryan 45. Both about the rules and what Tennessee 3 Gun Series is going to do. I just ate, had 2 beers and a Captain and Coke then looked at the pdf. Now my head hurts and I'm going to re-look at them in the morning.... What the hell did they do...... You ppl are so demanding
  16. This should help with your decisions. There are two holster options in the video http://youtu.be/9Zv4hAmUoYM
  17. Web site is up and live!!! http://www.tennessee3gunseries.com/
  18. Tennessee 3 Gun Series (TN3GS) is being started as a way to bring Tennessee and surrounding states shooters together in competition. By networking a number of Tennessee MultiGun programs we aim to create an environment to bring all shooters from Tennessee and surrounding states together. Currently more information is available on the facebook page and we will roll out the new website in approximately a week. https://www.facebook.com/groups/398102267005604/ Please keep an eye out for more info on the Facebook page, the upcoming website and here at Brian Eno's Forums!
  19. See the new thread here!! Of look up Tennessee 3 Gun Series on facebook!
  20. Time to turn on the Live on NBC Peter Pan Musical!!!
  21. I'm totally in support of Bryan, Denise and Jesse's ideas. Denise explains my feelings to a tee about your ability to control your own match after a bad stage if your using points. Buck up, shoot faster and make up time. If it's just time plus, hope really goes out the window. and the match just becomes depressing waiting for someone else to screw up. For me if I have a time plus versus points match I can attend on the same weekend you will Not see me at the time plus match.
  22. During Dustbusters run his first 4 targets were slug paper. His 5th target engaged was a full size popper. His 6th target was the 8" knockdown steel in question. So if he had loaded 5 slugs it would have been on the full size popper not the knockdown. The was no dimple in the knockdown. It was a wad mark OR because the steel was so close to us ( steel in question was 5-6 yards) that the wad had not really opened and the shot string was still compacted and freight trained right into the steel acting like a slug. Also the steel was 3 feet behind the stand. Not the 10 yards up in the woods if it was hit by a slug, More forensics indicate that the shooter had just opened a new box of 10 slugs. (I pulled them from his bag myself) There were 5 in the box and one back up in his shirt pocket.....Leaving only 4 to load in the gun. Either way IMO it was a messed up call and I can see why DB is upset, On the bright side there are 7 other clubs here in TN within a 45 min to 2,25 hour drive putting on monthly club matches.
  23. Great Match guys, thanks for setting it up! A bunch of us were talking yesterday and would love to be able to shoot this style 3 time a year. It was that much fun!!!
