  1. http://shop.blade-tech.com/level-duty-holster-c-1_4_7.html#.VRINHMnD-BY ive used the heck out of this one and its worth every penny
  2. this is a brand new plate. i usually put a heavy first coat when they are new. then just fan em after that. too thick and it chips/flakes
  3. cheapest you can find. not looking for automotive finish just a fan over so you know what hits are new. i get it by case at lowes. white can blk letters. it does good and a case goes a ways. for precision rifle. i actually use a stencil. to put a flourescent orange dot.
  4. another vote for the xdm 5.25 it seems to index and shoot waaaaaay more accurately than any handgun ive had. all involved really put some thought into the 5.25 and it shows. the trigger must be replaced i think it prob had to leave the factory that way. any one of the big 3 after market trigger jobs get awesome reviews. i went with the powder river precision ulitmate match. if your smart enough to live a semi adult life you can stone in/fit a trigger. the you tube videos are very good and show you exactly what to do. or just send it in to PRP Springer or Canyon Creek. i come from a precision rifle background.what i have learned so far is you can get by with a do all. but a specific gun/tool for a specific job let you do it much more efficiently and accurately. ps im an xdm fanboy.i admit it.i love the gun

  6. just remember to be real close you have to know the exact size of your target and get a very close mil estimation OR get a dead nut mil read and have a very close estimation of target size. its an equation and any integer thats off throws you off and the smaller target the more it throws you waaaaay off. high magnification .1 brake down and no mirage are all helpfull
  7. xdm 5.25 all the way. it just feels so natural putting it on target. i know that may sound wierd.this pistol is soooooo well thoughtout. drop your choice of trigger "i put the prp ultimate in mine" and your ready to play. i recommend them to everybody i talk to when the handgun subject comes up. i reeeeeeeally like the 5.25!!
  8. it sure is rough when you lose one but people who dont have pets are missing out on a very special thing. every day when i get home im greeted by our doberman. hes completely rotten and sleeps on the bed. hes very protective and circles my 2 yr old boy when we go outside. they are like brothers. i try not to even think about losing him. he is most def a member of the family. sorry for your loss,it sux.
  9. http://www.precisionrifleseries.com/ this should give you all the info you need.
  10. ive mostly been to K&M in Baker FL http://kmshootingcenter.com/ this place is great and the guys that run it are as nice as youll ever meet. the other is PTS in cookville TN again super sharp and nice folks runnin this one. there are matches all over the US. your basically only limited by your budget.
  11. update: this thing is awesome!!! got some range time yesterday afternoon. did some simple drills and I am digging this holster bigtime, its gonna fit my need to a t.
  12. just the bullet cost more than the loaded 308 round. the 50 does everything BIG
  13. this showed up today. looks like its gonna be perfecto!
  14. my boy is 2 now , maby they will be out in time for him LOL. i have a 22 "savings acct." for him. i been watchin the online like a hawk and keep scoreing 525 a couple times a month.
  15. this was my answer.le/mil agencies are sloooooow to adapt. comp community is not. blade tech level 2 will be used in precision rifle matches with pistol stages. we are run and gun with pack on back, bolt gun in hand/slung climbing into and out of shooting positions. pistol falling out is a no no, level 2 is the answer. id take the 5.25 all day long over ANY thing out there.
  16. its a no go. i went to my safariland dist. today. they had the holster for the 34 with a light. The aera in the muzzle section is too narrow. there is a steel bushing that sets width dn there, you could make a longer bushing and use a longer bolt and make it work. I opted to just order a fde bladetech WRS level 2 with drop offset tec lok.
  17. A SPECIAL REQUEST for Glock 34/35 safariland 6280 level 2 owners. TEST XDM 5.25 9/40 If you have or have access to an XDM 5.25 in 9/40 function test in your g34/35 safariland 6280 holster and see how the fit is ...sloppy , tight, etc. ? does the hood clear when you sweep it down? how much up and dn slop is there when the hood is in the up/closed position? how is retention with the hood down? thanks for the help , I know one of you pistol gurus has the combo looking for a working solution to use in precision/tac. rifle competition "the pistol sections (: " for some unknown they don't list one for 5.25 and I don't like the way the serpa is desighned. no crown protection and draw method
  18. where are all the level 2 duty holsters for the xdm 5.25 ? not a big serpa fan and it would be nice to have the muzzle/crown protected as well. these guns have been out for a while and as accurate as they are with the large magazine capacity would make a great duty weapon. has anyone found a level 2 for the 5.25 9/40 besides the serpa?
  19. it was 90 something degrees here today so I set the chrono up at the berm, aimed eyes at sun. and shot out the car window "is it cold in here to you? (: " they all read and all my brass was in the floorboard. it read all pistol and I was going to use the rifle as the control in between and It gave me one incorrect, one no read at all not even err, and the other was way over if I recall correctly "I got the exact wrote down, anyway it wasn't right" so the search continues for a decent setup. id like to see some more pics of what different places are using at matches.
