  1. Kelly Alvarez: After wasting a couple hours and 10 bucks in gas trying to find these knobs locally I decided to just send Kelly some cash and see what happens. Kelly was very informative about receiving my funds and shipping the items. I put 8 bucks in an envelope with my name and address included. The entire process took less then a week, in my mailbox I get a nicely packed shipping envelope with my 3 knobs included. The guy actually gave me change in the form of a new shiny .50 cent piece. Who does that. I wasn't expecting change! Buy from this guy, It just makes sense.
  2. I have just become aware of the "flip-flop" seating stem and a clip that enables you to remove the die insert and change the seating stem from round nose to semi-wadcutter without unscrewing a seating stem out of the die body. My 550B is currently configured for 9mm. I load MG147 pretty much exclusively with very little deviation in OAL. Probably over 10K I am now in the process of converting to 45ACP loading 200 grain semi-wadcutter's. I did take my 9mm seating die apart and noticed that it looks as if the seating stem comes from the factory semi-wadcutter profile facing down just like in the picture above. My question is do you guys flip flop the seating stem to meet the current bullet profile you are loading or just adjust OAL regardless of the bullet profile. My type A personality wants to flip the seating stem on my 9MM die, make adjustments to OAL even though I have made thousands with my current configuration. Sincerely, I thank you for your response.
  3. I just wanted to say thanks, I have spent the last two weeks reading and studying this forum. "A" type personalities can really drive themselves nuts getting into hand loading. This site has been of great help. I ordered my 550 from Brian last Friday. Today is day 5, hopefully it will show up. My buddy and I are hand loading mainly for IDPA, shooting a G34 /G17 and CZ75. Our local source set us up with 3k Federal SPP, 8 lbs. of Tightgroup and 1k Rainier 147’s Any input is always appreciated. Sincerely, Rich
