  1. the cci 209 seem to be bigger than the Winchester and federal so once you put the cci into a hull it stretches out the primer pocket and your pretty much stuck with using the cci primers as the other primers will fit loosely in the pocket.

    skeet o/u

Thanks guys for the info I ended up getting a xs special 30" with an adjustable comb. Guns balance is good and like jax mention the added weight helps with the recoil and seems to help with the swing and follow through.

    skeet o/u

thanks everyone for all the suggestions I haven't ruled out the older clitoris. I shot a club members 32" 425 this past weekend i believe it was a golden clays with adj. comb and the SG was very well balanced. first time shooting it I busted 22 out of 25. its now got me rethinking about the weight and length of the SG. It felt real nice and seemed to make the swing and follow though easier. ive noticed that the 725 are close to a pound lighter than the 4-625 series in the same barrel length im wondering if this will make a big difference

    skeet o/u

Thanks for your guys suggestions. I'm definitely gonna want an adj. comb. Even though i havent heard of anything bad about the 725 i wish I could try to shoulder them to see and compair if the fit and feel would be good for me but none of the gun shops where I live have any of these o/u. So it makes the choice of which one to choose sporting or skeet feel like a blind one.

    skeet o/u

Thanks P.E there's no sporting clays fields where I live, ill shoot trap some times if my friends go to the trap fields, but I primarily only shoot skeet. what is the difference between the 725 skeet and sporting all I can find is the sporting is a little lighter it has an option for a 32" barrel and the forearm is different. would these difference make for a different shooting gun compared to the skeet version?

    skeet o/u

Hi everyone had a question and was hoping to get some suggestions and advice. I was looking at getting a browning o/u to shoot skeet with, ive been looking at the browning xs skeet, theres been a couple of guys that have the xs skeet where I shoot and the shotgun feels nice. Now heres my dilemma ive noticed that browning came out with the new 725 skeet gun, from what I gathered it is an improvement from the previous citori's in feel and design. I haven't had the chance to shoulder one yet so I cant compare the xs and the 725. what do you all feel about the two? should I get the xs skeet im sure I can find one for around $2000 plus or minus couple hundred or should save up a thousand more and go with the 725 skeet? I wish money wasn't a thing but at 2gs the xs is pushing my limit but I might be willing to spend more money if the 725 is a better investment, my thinking is buy once cry once.

  11. Bayou bullets and xtreme 200gr hp have been shooting well through my sig stx
  12. One of my local gun shops has the max on a black Friday sale for 899 almost picked it up. The trigger wasnt that smooth it had some creep and the pull was a little more than expected. Also the rear sight were big and has some sharp edges. Think I'll save the money and put it towards a x-5
  13. Thank likestoshoot Yes i removed the shell stop/bolt release assy. To polish the shell stop edge.every thing is clean. The gun is fairly new maybe 100 rd through it.
  14. Hey guys and gurus! I got a 24" jm pro and have polished the shell stop, but I'm still having issues with not being able to hand cycle the bolt to chamber a round with a full mag and chamber clear. When I cycle the bolt some times it will lock back open as if there was no rounds in the mag tube, other times it wont lock back but the shell stop doesn't move to release the shell and some times it works fine. Anybody have any suggestions on what's going on and how I can cure my problem thanks in advance.
  15. I would say he probably wet tumbles with stainless media to get um looking that pretty.
  16. I haven't used clays before but I don't think you will be able to feel a .2 gr difference
  17. Are you seating and crimping with the same die? If so I think your issue is your crimp die is not adjusted right to far in(to much crimp)so when u apply the crimp it's "holding" the case before the bottom of the press stroke and your still pushing the case in so it's pushing the shoulder back. Hope that makes sense. Does your brass case have a slight bulge in it at the shoulder? Try backing out the die I think that will solve our problem
  18. I seen that also, was still debating if I was gonna epoxy bed it to take up the slack but so far the looseness hasn't effected the function of the gun. I had to polish my shell stop and every once and awhile my follower in the mag tube gets stuck tried polishing that also.what are the other things you are going to do to your gun if u don't mind me asking?
  19. What headstamp was the 5.56 case? Was thinking bout loading some 175gr with A5744 using converted LC brass. Hows the drop on the 175gr @ Vel of 1840?
  20. I loaded up some hornady xtp with w231 because I can't find any wsf or any slower burning powder right now 5.7gr w231 oal 1.235 avg velocity 833.4 out of my 5" barrel 1911. Wanted to get alittle higher Vel. But im pretty sure 5.7 is pushing it hopefully some other powders will come in soon. Anyone have other suggestion for powders that will work well for this round?
  21. I ordered 1000 rd of 45 acp back in jan. and got it in about 5-6 weeks donnie told me waiting time would depend on what caliber and how much I ordered. Didn't mind waiting for a great product with great customer service..
  22. Very Cool I like how it's portable and self powered by the battery no need to find an outlet to plug in the lights
  23. Thanks walleye I can figure out how to build the cable and download the software from prochrono. I was just wondering about the software programming and Bluetooth connections was also curious about any Mac software compatibility. Sorry for being vague and not specific. Thanks again for the help
