I think you hit the nail on the head about "combat sighting." When I first shot Sig night sights, everything was low and I was ready to send it back for adjustment. I still think it's counter-intuituve to obscure my target with the front sight but even for a slow learner like me, it became second nature after a few (dozen) trips to the range.

Mighty fine group, Jason. I've had four Sigs with night sights; they have taken a little getting used to but with shooting like that, I'd say you're there already.

Salaam Alaikum, I finally convinced the boss that I can shoot more, spend less and still not blow up the neighborhood so I had Brian fix me up with a 550B. Where has it been all my life? Gimpy, thanks for the tip about the .40 case atop the follower. I'm a novice reloader still learning things about my 550B and for the first time, I made it through the entire magazine tube without skipped, sideways or upside down primers.
