  1. All of mine were made after the "now fully CNC'd" sales pitch. How is it any better than the dillon plate? It has rough edges on the radius entering the slot. It causes the brass to drag. Even if mine were machined to spec, it would be any better than dillon plates. YMMV (Btw, you're welcome to check one of my plates out. Just send me a message)
  2. Because I have 4 of them on my shelf that are machined wrong. He never could get me a correctly machined plate. I spent several hours and scrapped a lot of brass trying to install. They are not an authorized dillon product and anyone that has them installed can lose their warranty. (I know it's irrelevant to this machine) Do not waste your time on those products. Plus, I don't know anyone that has killed a dillon shell plate because of a manufacturing defect. I broke one on accident. Even though it was completely my fault, dillon stepped up and replaced it no questions asked.
  3. The kits are well made. I have his kit on my 223 press with around 200,000 through it with no change in resistance or sagging. Buy with confidence.
  4. I have used all of the Whidden toolheads for the 650 and 550. They are excellent. Fit and finish is perfect. As previously stated, they're like a work of art. John and Carrie are top notch. I exclusively use them for my custom dies.
  5. First off go read my post. I bought the trimmer NEW and it is less than 2 weeks old. I offered to show the guy my receipt but he would not even look because he was leaving in 15 minutes. I had it scanned and saved as an attachment ready to send to his email. My shell plate issue was in no way related to the swager because the shell plate that is bent belongs on a 1050. RIF
  6. I own 1050's and was denied warranty on a 1050 due to previous testing of a 650 part!
  7. Why? I just want to know why someone trolling threads and looking at aftermarket parts has the right to deny service on other machines. That is fine to deny the warranty on a 650 since you read that I did try out that piece of crap swager and have talked a LOT of others out of buying it. I am having trouble with a 1050 and he doesn't make parts for them... Why is my account "flagged"??
  8. While I have personally seen poor quality ammunition and other products during this time, I have not found a single out of spec or poor QC part from Dillon. Not saying it's out of the question. Just saying that my stuff has been right. As it always arrives that way
  9. That's the truth. Usually the only feedback is the negative feedback. The guys who don't have problems are too busy cranking out ammo to post how amazing they are.
  10. lol! I saw that video earlier this week when talking to a customer about the Forcht drive. Hahaha absolutely nuts!
  11. After a 1050, why go back? I'm thinking camdex
  12. Hello everyone. Been "lurking" for a while and decided to join. Ordering my first dillon as soon as BE gets back from the holidays. I'm a member on numerous gun sites and figured there was some great information here and tech support (if needed) from everyone since I'm switching to the blue side. Happy Holidays everyone! -Tim
