Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Umbrella mount up, also some storage added. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  2. shotmaxx by doublealpha Rgrds Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  3. Not only about spread out ranges, I have more than 4 guns to carry around for the various shooting disciplines. Apart from that, I like building stuff. Few more pictures of the cam type quick release system. These carriers are removable in a few seconds and the cart still folds up. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  4. Cost effective? Maybe not, but we do not get these strollers locally at all. Bout same price for us for this one, most of the golf carts are useless to convert, this one made sense. Considering how well its going with the conversion, happiness. Its got a Build in usable seat, still need to add the ammo storage and waterproof box for all the rest of the stuff, also a plate protecting the barrels. Will post more pics when done. 5. And a few more. Rgrds Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

  7. Cart is not home made but the conversion is. In South Africa we do not get all the gun carts like you guys do. Very few people actually use carts. With a growing collection in the arsenal its getting more of a schlepp to get all the equipment to the range and walk between the various areas. So time for a gun cart. Started with a clicgear 3.5 golf cart (www.clicgear.com) Added the seat and umbrella holder. So this is where I started. Adding 2 of 52-3550 ATV RHINO GRIP XL GUN MOUNTS DOUBLE ordered from Cabelas. So cut some Ally sqare tubing and Tigged it up at a 45 degree angle. I wanted to keep the seat usable so moved the mounts over to the right hand side. By removing the bag mount elastic bands, I used the outriggers to mount the brackets. The top bracket was installed between the 2 horns with a spacer. The idea is to use the clamps and a slot in the Ally to allow easy removal to fold the cart. That will be done later this week, need to buy the 2" and 3" 1/4"x20 bolts first. The bottom bracket was installed on top of the outrigger horns to ensure clearance to the wheel and ground and mount shorter guns as well. More to follow. Rgrds Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  8. Thanx, who did you get the STI from, price? Rgrds PS setting up the Dillon 650 now
  9. Here is what I did and why. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICnJojitpgg Thing is to my reckoning to prevent the shell plate from snapping, we need some sort of friction. I wanted a modification that did not require disassembly nor be permanent. It must also be cheap and easily reversible. So I bent the ejector wire end that wraps the bolt down to almost rub against the plate. Covered it with 3 layers of heat shrink sleeving and shrunk it. See the video for the result.
