  1. These questions of the month can go pound sand. They don't mean anything, especially when Jodi is answering them.
  2. because it still says engage after the reload. Engage means fire 1 shot
  3. The number of shots fired is still correct (12). 10.2.2.1 is related to not applying a general procedural for extra shots (theres a rule for that) or not shooting enough shots (mikes) I don't think 10.2.2.1 applies at all. It's one of the things you'd have to go back and see who wrote 10.2.2.1 and what case it was trying to prevent. I think NROI got it wrong (again)
  4. NROI should call this a clue that their current training methods are failing.
  5. Somebody drilled his CCP gun before florida state and it didn't work, surprise! lol
  6. There were a few different ways to do most of the stages but the best plan for me was evident pretty quickly. IDPA stage planning isn't as difficult as when I used to shoot USPSA Production, although I can tell my mental sharpness shooting a 10 round division is not quite there these days. I had small mental errors on way too many stages at this match. They are pretty visible to me on video, I wonder how many people notice them.
  7. I had probably 75k through mine and it was still fine, but shooting it side by side with my backup gun it was clear the less used gun was more accurate by a good margin
  8. JHP not relevant. Most people are using coated bullets. TC/FP or RN doesn't really matter.
  9. I'm asking what SA gun only has a passive safety? I assume you are referring to some striker fired pistol as SA?
  10. Striker fired... Why? Because polymer guns are lighter, and most polymer guns are striker fired. I shoot a Tanfoglio in USPSA. I don't want to carry a 3 pound gun in my pants when out on the street.
  11. Managed to snag first overall out of about 320 shooters at this one. Dropped 10 points total
  12. Some off the shelf 9 doesn't even make minor at 125 right now. All raising the pf would do is make a bunch of people at local matches have illegal ammo without even knowing it. The people shooting WWB aren't likely to own a chrono and they only care about pf when they go to their first section match and get zero'd
  13. Something I wrote on the subject a while back https://www.super-tactical.com/2020/02/blake-drills-explained.html
  14. You mean the Blake drill? 3 targets, two shots on each....yes. Goal should be to match your bill trill times and splits. It's obviously harder but it's doable.
  15. Are you using a Lupula to load those last two rounds? All my Mecgar/grams mags hold 24, although I can't load them with my dainty fingers.
  16. There is a new AC in Delaware and someone there asked the question and got the wrong answer from him, then was posting it in the IDPA FB group. He's saying "I'm just doing what he said I'm allowed to do" which I believe is disingenuous, and which is why I posted here then emailed my AC. Seems like logic is prevailing and there will be a clarification or rules update soon
  17. The AC of Florida replied to my email and said magwells must be removed from SSP guns even if they come with them. Someone else was also saying that removing a magwell from a factory gun is not in the allowed list of SSP mods but the AC also confirmed that is incorrect. HQ should have a ruling or rules update soon to clarify it all
  18. When they disallowed people emailing HQ to ask questions.
