That's where I was heading with the "pretend the first reload didn't happen" comment I made a few hundred (seemingly) pages ago
-
Actually I have no idea now. In my brain I was making a good point. Either way it's a zero, next shooter
-
The initial reload doesn't mean anything because it didn't come after engaging all the targets, so just pretend it didn't happen and score accordingly. Since it didn't happen, he enaged t3 correctly.

Is it time for a Combined Action Shooting World Championship?
waktasz replied to Nimitz's topic in USPSA/IPSC Shooting
No it's not, but if I wanted to do those other sports, I would. Almost all the people I know in USPSA only shoot USPSA. Some also do a steel or 3gun match here and there, but most are not interested in the others. -
Is it time for a Combined Action Shooting World Championship?
waktasz replied to Nimitz's topic in USPSA/IPSC Shooting
So, we have multiple , individual sports: NFL, NHL, NBA and MLB. they are all different in some respect, have theiur loyal followers & detractors but the one thing they do all have in common is that they are sports. Why not have an event where athletes from each league compete against eachother to see who is the most best? -
Sorry I meant to post this in this section. https://forums.brianenos.com/forum/202-tanfoglio-eaa-ifg/

Production is dying because Practiscore match results show the Overall results on the front page whenever you go check scores. USPSA website used to only show division results.

Fundamentals yes, but even pro racing drivers take time to adapt to their new teams when switching cars.

Switching long term or switching back and forth week to week? For a while I would shoot Production all year until nats in August and then shoot Limited. The change of pace helped me avoid getting burnt out. I've seen people shoot a different gun every week though. That doesn't seem to make any sense to me.

11 pound wolf variable. With my 6" gun I was using a 10.

USPSA -> IPSC Equipment Rosetta Stone?
waktasz replied to StealthyBlagga's topic in USPSA/IPSC Rules
oh I forgot about that one. Glock 34 not legal. Trigger pull limits. Production gets 15 rounds and Standard gets 18. Standard has a box and mags behind the hip, but Production gets race hostlers. The more I talk about it the more I hate it -

Nice guns dont make better shooters
waktasz replied to rock751's topic in Little things I've Noticed
I've said it before, if your nice gun means you enjoy it more, will practice more and will enjoy matches more then yes, nice guns will make you shoot better. I made Master with a Glock but I made GM with a Tanfoglio and a 2011. Switching platforms reinvigorated my motivation and increased my practice/participation level. -
Correct. Beretta. Have some respect!

One, that I can remember. It had to do with palm swell grips back when the production rules said grips had to be the same profile. Not sure if you know this, but the rulebook has changed since then.

The problem with these types of emails to Troy is that already you are using incorrect nomenclature to describe your question, then Troy may or may not read into that correctly, and we get 5 different rulings that everyone thinks is right. I'm sure he will parse your email correctly, but the part in question is a grip module, not a frame.
-
You clearly aren't following what I'm saying. The Polymer 80 gun on the list is just that, a gun. So is the Wilson Combat 320. Those complete GUNS are legal because they are on the list. There was a question at the time about the WC model because of the flared magwell opening. That's not what this thread is about.

This is a nonsense answer. There might be a quesiton about Production and CO, but "cannot legally be used in any USPSA division" is a silly thing to say. Personally I think it would be fine for CO. They are a readily replaceable part and all of the following is legal, also, note what it says in bold. Grip modifications such as, but not limited to, undercutting/smoothing the trigger guard, adding or removing finger grooves, or adding stippling, grip tape, or checkering are allowed. Replacement grip panels are allowed provided they do not extend below the butt of the gun

There is certainly not a 10 round limit in every major metro area but ok
