  1. It's fine. You can cut all sorts of holes in the slide for CO now
  2. For a lot of guns 10 round mags are harder to seat when full
  3. Depends if you can trust the indicators on your mags or not. I typically unload mine also
  4. Loosen the holster more or heat it a bit so it doesn't bind.
  5. Just mark your fifth mag in some way. For me I painted the basepad. That mag always gets 11. On unloaded starts I don't use it at all.
  6. I put the 13# in today and it feels pretty strong...but sear isnt currently in the gun, because reasons, so that puts tension holding the gun out of battery. I also have a 15 if I need to use it
  7. People say that EVERY VIDEO I post, for the last 10 years. Have you ever shot a match before? He's at least 10 feet behind the firing line
  8. Just ordered one today. Already have the springs
  9. How many rounds through it since then?
  10. Just talked to them not too long ago. They are sending me some spares. Hopefully this next one lasts A LOT longer
  11. If you're not going to be getting paid from Walther contingency, the q5 SF is certainly way way overpriced. And this is coming from someone who just bought one. There is more aftermarket support for the Sig, by far, as well.
  12. Has anyone found a replacement spring or a guiderod that works with this gun without having to drill a hole in the back?
  13. I don't know you All I said was everyone "I" know has gone through dots already. My first one lasted 400 rounds. Yes it was a Vortex for which that is common, but for a newbie starting out in CO, it made sense, and I'm sure many others are thinking the same. I have an SRO now with not a ton of rounds on it but it should be better
  14. I don't know about that. Everyone I know that has shot CO for more than a month has broken a dot already.
  15. Participation varies a lot by region. Our match this weekend was CO 14 Lim 26 Open 16 PCC 13 Prod 18 Revo 1 SS 3
  16. The heavier trigger pull means lighter toggle springs, right? That seems like more bolt velocity and damage, but thats what I installed today so we'll see.
  17. Brand new gun with a brand new trigger in it. I bought it from MBX set up like this. That's the disconnector spring
  18. I took the whole trigger apart and I think it's the disco spring causing the issue now. It's all mangled.
  19. It's definitely a technique issue, not an unsafe gun but yea, it's questionable and an issue I need to fix. All the targets had all those hits on it, mostly A's The NPM target only had half of the upper A available.
  20. Definitely going to do the heavier springs...although I can't find them at the moment
  21. Seems whenever I try to shoot "fast" I reset the trigger in some weird way that makes it burst. Never happens when shooting hard shots or steel, only when trying to rip fast splits. Never ever had this issue with any of my AR's, even with 1 pound triggers. I assume the answer is to "hold it tighter" but I'm not sure if that's it. It's something with my trigger finger.
