I didn't start dry firing much when I was shooting my glock but I recently started in wheel guns and I try to dry fire 2-3 times a week for 15-20 minutes. It's really helped me learn my wheel gun

I use 4.8. gr with 135 gr bearcreek bullets in my glock 17 (I have a KKM) barrel. I use them for idpa. They work very well for me. I am going to switch to 231 because it is a little smokey. I was shooting over a car at a match last weekend and I couldn't see the target, that and the sun was in my face. Just my 2 cents

My girlfriend shoots my xdm 9mm she started in esp so now I'm putting together a glock 17 for esp as well. She didn't give me a choice. It was hey let's shoot idpa BTW I'm shooting your xdm.
