Do you have a DEF tank on that truck? I have not looked at them in a couple of years. I know that when they first come out with that particulate filter they had problems when people would idle to much. I have a 04.5 that has been great. Probably will be my last diesel due to the all the emissions crap.

Wife sends me this pic at work. She don't want her baby birds to get eaten. When I get the picture text I call home. She has my sons Red Rider BB gun and has run out of BBs. She is only 4-5ft away! Bird house full of dents, BBs stuck in deck post. I killed the snake when I got home. Good thing she didn't grab a 22 or something bigger.

Many gun ranges have rental guns you can use for 10-15 bucks extra. Most will let you swap out your rental gun as many times as you want for no extra $ . If you find a range that has a good selection of 1911s , this may help you make your decision. Just remember, you usually get what you pay for. I would be patient and find a good used name brand gun you can try out before you buy. I have seen low cost new guns that just won't run. Then you have to send back to the manufacture or spend more money with a gunsmith.

Don't buy a stock pistol. Dawson crp is an ok choice. But I vote for a Cameron Custom gun. They flat run !

You probably know this , but STI will replace or repair problem mags. I have sent one myself.

It was a 7 month wait on my 1911. Got held up at hard chrome. Cameron's Custom uses the same hard chrome guy that does all of Les Baer ( and he is a one man operation ). Eddie says Baer will send 50-100 at a time. That's a lot for a one man show, but he does great work.

45. I love this gun. Very accurate, great trigger. Had Dawson Bomar style green fiber optic rear installed for my tired eyes. Crown flush barrel, all the bells and whistles.

The wait is very long on single stacks. But well worth it. Eddie likes to tease you with pictures. Great bunch of guys at Cameron's. On a recent trip to Arizona I stopped in and met them. Don't get Ed Cameron talking about bass fishing! No guns will get finished. 1911 perfection!
