  1. Damn thats one cancer killing rock chucker!
  2. Depends on where and what its going on, but slip ewl, slip ewl30, slide glide or wheel bearing grease.
  3. Exactly. There were only a few things that the dvd spotlighted that i couldnt seem to find anywhere on the net. And of course, i cant remember what those things were
  4. Had my first primer less belling last night. Oops! I literally realized it as it was dropping the powder too. DOH! Luckily its pretty damn easy to remove the shell plate and clean'er up.
  5. Clip the ball bearing detent spring. I didnt think it was going to be an issue with mine, but i ended up having to clip a full coil off. Worked like a charm
  6. Not included, but worth the $ IMO. Not really needed, but provides a good reference if you get stuck during setup.
  7. Feel your pain. Mine washed my car key the other day. Fried all the internals. More money to not spend on G&A
  8. +1 on this. Do the thinner profile barrels heat faster, sure but id be willing to bet you'll get more potential accuracy problems due to the whole system's rigidity vs barrel temp.

    Walther PPQ

Yea im upset about the mag release change, being an hk user. Love my ppq so much i plan on getting the new 5" anyway. If the mag release is the biggest complaint ill have, itd be a damn fine firearm in my book.
  10. Grayguns or stock. Thats all thats worth it IMO. Not to discredit bill, but what grayguns does is much more than just some polishing and removing material from the control latch. All your internals get coated in np3 with a grayguns job. They also have options depending your intended use of said firearm.
  11. This is one of a few cases where I want a loose fit Really though, a loose fit ensures you can slap whatever upper on that lower or vice versa. Accuracy will not be affected enough to matter. Maybe if you are doing benchrest comp for ultra tight groups you might see a MINOR accuracy difference but not enough for it to matter in real world use. At that point you could bed the upper and lower mating surfaces & lugs to each other, i guess...... Even better is a loose fitting upper lower combo with a lower that has a set screw under the rear lug to tighten it up to your desired tightness.
  12. Not sure if this is the right section or not, feel free to move mods. I am visiting a local safe specialist this week to check out some of his recommendations for a proper safe. I know this is a market where ALOT of sales gimmicks are used and most of them are lies/half truths. In order to not fall victim, i have done lots of research but I am still curious to get anybodies experience with safes in advance. FWIW I am looking to spend around 1800-2500 for a 24-32 rifle safe. Looking for rough OD of 60x26x24. Thanks for any help guys!
  13. Thanks! Here is my prototype of the Pin Jig idea. Indicate the material and zero the mil, flip and run the second side from the same zero. I think it should work? We will soon see... Gotta love how simple, yet effective that is. Keep up the good work
  14. You'll love the 650. Treat it as a single stage for a little bit while you get used to it. Just by being here you are starting out with a ton more info than alot of us did. If you need help, feel free to throw a post up and im sure one these guys will be able to help you out. Watch out, the blue koolaid is mighty tasty:D
  15. Finally got the bullets in, i made my test batches at 1.225 with 4.8/5.0/5.2 gr 231. Got a bunch of 231 sitting around, so i chose that powder. Now I just need to get out to my friends land to chrony these. Thanks for the help guys
  16. You were one of my insperations! I saw your build thread (on another forum). It was your enclouser that inspired mine! I knew you had to be a member here! CM5000 Love it! Can you point me in that direction?? Very interested
  17. Love it guys! I have been saving for a while now to do the same. It'd be nice for both my hobbies, cars & firearms. Keep up the good work guys
  18. Looking for a good plinking load for 45. Just grabbed some 200gr plated SWC from xtreme bullets and was curious if anyone had any data. It will be over 231, with CCI primers and speer nickel plated brass. Not too concerned with PF or anything, just want a nice soft shooting plinker load. Thanks in advance guys!
  19. +1 and your spring setup. I have an ssa-e trigger group with a standard ssa trigger spring. So i have the slightly heavier first stage with the nice light crisp 2nd stage. Perfect for the role of said rifle.
  20. Yea yea yea we all know dillon is great. Whats best here is the wife buying 600 bucks worth of blue goodness for ya! Thats a keeper sir if I ever heard of one.
  21. Good! I can understand raising prices, but the gouging going on should be illegal. Continue to give them business! A lgs around me is still selling pmags @ $17, too bad they have none:(
  22. just picked up 10k range pickup from a friend who has his own gun range. sorting it is a PITA, but on the bright side so far over half of em have been speer nickel plated large primer and only 15 small primers so far. This is gonna take a while but at 3.5 cents each i couldnt beat it with a stick!
  23. For semi auto i prefer to crimp. Albeit mildly. Just enough to ensure no setback, but be sure not too much. As noted in a post above, some prefer to not crimp
  24. Decaps only. No sizing. Used to ensure no media in flash hole
