I had the same question 3-years ago. I ended up asking Brian for a recommendation on which was best for dot use. He stated clearly that the Gold were better for dot use. I use a green dot and it really "pops" when I am aiming.

IIRC yes, the safety is installed before the Hiperfire goes in.

I expect you to be with a sea of CO shooters!

I don't know the stock spring ratings. For 9MM in my TS I ran 11# springs. USPSA Minor 128K power factor.
-
I had the Taccom barrel but switched back to an MBX pencil cut barrel with no ramp. It feeds great - running 115RN Ball ammo

This wouldn't be acceptable/legal. Was discussed during last year's PCC/CO Nationals with Troy. The pistols you mentioned have the thumb ledge incorporated into a non-OEM replacement slide stop.

9# spring from Wolff

Just got a confirmed shipping status for a January order

Recipes for Major PF using e3 reloaded for my CZ Tactical Sport
1. 180g ibejiHeads, 3.8g e3, range brass, Win SPP PF = 171,180
2. 200g Bayou, 3.3g e3, range brass, Win SPP PF = 166,587

Mine was on 12 January which isn't anywhere near as long as you. No COMMS yet.

I've stuck with a 115gr Berry's or xTreme bullet for both short 5.25 and long 14.5 barrels. Always a good feeding profile at 1.125 inches with appropriate powder loads to make Power Factor.

I have three 170mm tubes with either a 3 or 5-inch extension that I ran last year for USPSA PCC matches.
They ran without a single misfeed or any other mag related issue. They don't swell when fully loaded as my Glock would do. So far there has been no wear and tear on the feed lips nor the catch slot. No tuning required. Performance is just as advertised.
YES, they are expensive but, I routinely would have to toss 2 Glock 33-round mags each year due to too much wear, bulging...etc.
For me it was a solid investment.
Your mileage as they say, may vary...

+1 on the Hunters Gold. They give you great contrast and the have photochromic lenses meaning the get darker as the sun intensity becomes more intense. They essentially keep the same amount of light passing through the lenses in most lighting conditions. Would not recommend them for indoor use, or during dusk or dawn lighting where I prefer clear lenses.
I have purchased some camera glasses I intend to have Hunters Gold create a lens for the frame, which is another service they provide. They can create lenses for most frames. Note there are some frames they cannot create lenses for.
They can also create their lenses with prescriptions as well.
They are pricy, but for me it is one of the few things splurging on makes sense.

Completely agree. I just turned 62 and have these:

RO'ed Stage 6 and Many shooters used this approach during that 3rd day of the match due to the sun playing tricks on their dots.

I run the TF 41 extensions and download to 40 so I can seat a mag with a closed bolt.

Pick a load that you want to shoot and then tune the buffer/spring combination to make it work the way you want it to. You will likely find a 115gr 9MM setup will be vary enough from a 147gr 9MM setup that you'll need to tweak things. As was stated earlier, each of the three can provide a reliable solution.

The fees a shooter pays at a local match normally covers just the cost of the materials used, classifier fees to USPSA and some minor set aside to sustain/replace steel or other equipment.

Good to know! You will like it. I thought at first it may not be sturdy enough, but it runs fine.

At Area 8 this year I was asked to provide an already loaded mag to the CRO running chrono to use. They only weighed one bullet and I got 7 rounds back in the bag we filled on the 1st stage.

One as a minimum.
I have two. One on the side for a backup mag (Glock) and one mounted in the front for use in classifiers, unloaded starts... etc.

Rise Armament RA-535 in my MBX PCC for at least 10K rounds with no issues.
