Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Thanks for the input everyone. My curiosity stems from that high-round count report of the CZ IPSC classic (sorry, it won't let me link - but it's the "strictlyipsc" report) where the author uses buffs and seems to be a fan for good longevity of the pistol components. I think I'd like to try a buffer at least for practice, just to see if it works... does anyone know a source for the "thin" buffers? I see them referenced on other websites and as part of buffer packs, but I can only seem to find Buffer Technologies' standard sized buffers for sale on the web.
  2. Hi folks, I've got a new SP01 (9x19) that I'll be shooting in production. I looked through a few search results on using recoil buffers in the 75 platform, and there seemed to be no real consensus. Is there any need to use a buffer (assuming the pistol runs with one installed)? I'm more interested in ensuring long frame/slide life rather than changing the recoil impulse with a buffer.
  3. Interesting pictures. So would any of you recommend proactively beveling the cylinder stop trailing edge on a new 625 to add longevity to the cylinder? Is there anything else that could be done to give the cylinder a fighting chance under heavy DA use, or is it just something to fix if and when it happens?
