  1. I put the Briley 4" extensoon on mine with a =6 Nordic tube. Then added a fiber optic replacement front sight insert. Forgot the brand but there are a bunch of replacements out there. On the ghost ring I cut the top of ring off just to the top of the two side dots. So I have ajustability if needed as the original rear sight is adjustable. For slugs I line up the front dot with the back ones. For everything else as soon as the front dot comes any where near the big U from the cut off ghost ring I fire. I have found this very fast. Good luck...John
  2. Going on 7 months now waiting for my Salient M2. They have an POI issue with the 21 inch barrels. They are waiting for Benelli to replace them. So I wait.
  3. I run the Young Lite bolt assembly along with a JP light wieght buffer. Stock spring. Runs great no issues at all. It's a good product. John
  4. I have a 18 1/2 M1 Tachtical. I extendeded the barrell with a Breiley extensions and added a Nordic +6 tube. On the sites I removeed the stock post and replaced it with a green fiber optic one. Brownells had them. Themn on the back ghost ring I painted the side dots glow green and then dremeled off the top of the ring. Basicly i have a big groved rifle site. i find this set up fast and easy to get on target. I like the added open site picture. If I need pin point slug shooting I just make sure to line up the rear side dots with the fiber optic and off we go...
  5. I added a 4 inch extension to my M1 18 inch barrel. Worked great! Using a LM choke and the patterning and slug grouping is just fine. All thumbs up on using one.

    Guide rod jump

I have the exact same issue with my G-21. Mine runs great then the rod jumps and the slide will not go fully into battery. Its not all the time just once in a while. Sometimes a rack will fix it other times I have to pull the slide and reset the rod. I am using the stock barrel. I have tried a stainless guide rod with a 15 lbs IMSI spring and a Tugsten with the same lbs spring. Both had the issue. I just swapped out to a Jager captured rod with the IMSI 15 lbs spring and last week it ran fine for about 100 rounds. Going to another match this weekend and will run it again. I do have another barrel but want to try one thing at a time.
