  1. Damn, I would love to play. How late do we have to wait to see if not enough qualified people enter. Then my credentials might measure up. I can spell world champion. Sounds like a total blast.
  2. Question- Which of these TX Carbines do you think will be better? The Pirates deal will let me shoot it twice so I can see how I do with limited. It seems that prize table is not a factor on either.

  3. Anybody coming up from Nashville airport on the 28th. I am flying in and meeting my party at the range and will travel with them form there on. Would like to catch a ride from someone if possible. Will be ariving there about 2:00 1:30PM. I will not have full gear so only need room for 1 bag and a back pack.
  4. Thanks for the offers. Waited to book and only 10 buck difference. I'll take you up on your offer Jadeslade. Thanks to everyone who offered. Ty
  5. Damn, I knew you would say that. It cost more but I would get there earlier. And I have to drive two hrs to a different airport. I,ll give it a day and see if anyone is driving out of St Louis. Otherwise I'm there dude.
  6. Hi to all. I am going to have to fly into St.Louis on thurs and would like to ride with someone to boonville if possible. I am going to ride back with the Corpus crew so I just need a one way ride. I will be ariving about 11 AM. PM, email,or call me and let me know. 361-438-9344 Ty Gentry
  7. Well I heard that since some of the guys are over seas, that this years match will not be the same as the last. So to all you competitiors that have made it in, if there is a closer match for you, you might want to think about that and just skip this on for this year. Plus I heard it will sleet with howling wind in the morning and at noon will change and be 100+ degree with no wind and 99% humidity by 2:00 PM. The flee and tick infrestation is reaching epidemic preportions. The west nile mosquitos are multiplying at exponetial rates. I just want all you shooters to know that I am concerned about you and you saftey. I humbly submitt to you that I will carry the burden of such drudgery for my fellow shooters. There is a glimmer of hope that things might change if 10 shooters drop out befor the match. Yes I am on the waitng list but I do not want to disclose what position. It would truly be a good thing if no one had to drop out. I know that the only way I get good news is for someone else to have already recieved the bad news so it is bitter/sweet for me to get in now, but hope I still do. To whomever make it possible, I do apprieate it and hope all goes well.
  8. Does this mean that the closest shot with a rifle is 100 yards? Ty
  9. When I asked him for his signiture, he kept tring to sign my chest. Does that mean anything. It scared me.
  10. That puny hack is trying to shot a rifle with glass on top. Every time he looks at it he thinks it a drink or something. Not only that, now he looks like a hippy. I think with the new hair do we should be calling him curly.
  11. Wow Mike, what a shame. The main reason I was saving my capacity to imbibe. Hate that you had to miss. What a freak thing. Merlin just missed being stranded in Germany. Will really miss you mate. I was hoping I would be able to help you with the ticks. Yes I do remember. Hope everyone else has safe travel and look forward to seeing all. The sharpener.a
  12. Vicki, Our prayers go out for you and our brother in heart. Three things, Its God's plan not ours, he doesn't make mistakes, and he will not burden us with anything we cannot handle if we will but ask him for the help. Just know that he might send family or friends for that help. And don't think that anything you might ask of us is a burden. It is quite the opposite for us, it is a blessing to us that we might be able to help or comfort you in your time of need. So please let us know of anything no matter big or small that we can do. My own memory of Eddie will always be that big full faced inviting smile of a man you could not help but to be drawn to. I don't know if we will ever be able to not think fondly of Eddie every time we are at a match and here the words "HE MAN", for he was. We will all miss him. He left prepared. God bless you.
  13. Great news. Ditto to what Merlin said. All true. I hope you also keep the theme for the stages going. The dedications have been awesome. I have been to all and still have the bracelet, coin, knife, card, and even brought a friend back after a jet ride to the hospital courtesy of DH. And the micro this year is yet again bad ass. By the way, a prayer out for all going to train in the desert, I know they are headed out in the following week and we hope to see them all back by Rocky Mountain with lots to tell if they are allowed. I will do whatever it takes to keep making the matches. If I could only pick on match, it would be this one. Linda, thank you for all the hard work, and dont take any crap from us shooters, no whining allowed. Hamp, thanks to you, all the USAMU guys, the MCE and of course, the Col. Shooters are not treated like royalty anywhere like at your house and we love it. See you in May with trigger finger set for .09 splits for entry. Ty Gentry
