  1. Trade your gen3 for a gen4. Problem solved.
  2. Haha I texted this to a lot of people. I'd cite you but it loses comedic effect.
  3. $7 heat gun from Harbor Freight fixed the issue on my DOH
  4. 650 and a 416. I like your style.
  5. Minnesota represent. Well done John Koppi Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Next match, try holding the pistol with your strong hand and asking one of the top shooters at your club to grip the pistol with their weak hand as if they were shooting. Kinda like the movie Ghost, right? I'm enjoying this thread as my grip is terrible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Welcome! The calendar in the link above is OK. You're pretty close to Oakdale's range which runs USPSA on Thursdays on the summer. If you're willing to drive a little around the metro, you can shoot USPSA about 4x a week in the summer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Tried this yesterday and for the first time I can honestly say I saw my sights lift for the first time in my life. I saw the sights lift up and right before they settled. Too much weak hand and not strong hand?I tried Brian's technique, too. I was able to see when shooting controlled pairs but nervous I won't keep this up when shooting a match.
  9. Heat it and bend it!! I bought a harbor freight heat gun for like $7. Now my G34 / BT DOH / CR Speed combo is under 2". Slightly more expensive than a washer and longer screw but now I can melt stuff! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I'm going to check out the WorkMate. Good to hear there are no issues. Any chance you have a picture if your set-up? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  11. Saw it Saturday night. I agree that Hanks' performance at the end of the movie was extraordinary and worth the price of admission. That said, I didn't enjoy it. Replace the boat with a phone booth and you have the movie "Phone booth." It was fun seeing actors from my town (Minneapolis) on the big screen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  12. Background: I've never reloaded but I've been reading up as best I can for sometime. I'm fairly set on a Dillon 550 since I plan on reloading multiple calibers (9mm minor, initially) but won't do the volume a 650 or 1050 support. Dilemma: Space is a challenge at my house. With 3 small children and poor floor plan design, I can't find space where I could safely permanently mount a press. Questions: 1) Does anyone use a portable set-up for the 550? If so, do you have any issues seating the primer on the upstroke? 2) Are you limited to priming by hand with a or table set-up? 3) Any success mounting a 550 to one of those Lee stands or a pedestal for a grinder? 4) What other mounting options do you suggest? I will be moving next year and then have space for a bench. I'm hoping to start with a 550 now and load 9mm all winter. While I will add a single stage eventually to help with case prep for other calibers, I'm hoping you guys have some suggestions so I don't have to use a single stage all winter. Thanks! 13. Same. I use the 4.5# spring and stock striker with my Vogel trigger. I've only put 2k of AA&A reman through it so far but it is great. My only complaint is that sometimes it shoots Charlies and Mikes. That's a trigger issue, right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  14. Get the 34. Keep the 17 for your night stand. Even with two Glocks you're still in for cheaper than a lot of guys. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  15. Haha me too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  16. I have not encountered that issue with the ATP and Bladetech DOH. Works great and fast. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  17. Hello from Minneapolis/St. Paul!
  18. I like this idea. A lot! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  19. Nice. Do you have a website? I've been thinking about a FFIII and picking up an old slide. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  20. Thank you! Tagged for future. Have you tried the 147 gr?
  21. I just used a $7 heat gun from Harbor Freight to heat that pig up and bend it. I'm well under 2" now.
  22. Wow! Looks great! I didn't make it to Oakdale tonight (shot MG&F on Wednesday night instead)
