  1. Same. Just got back from chrono. 16.6 H110 under 158 XTP gave 1200 but 16.2 grouped and "felt" better. Blue Dot meter alright? H110 was a mess in the Dillon.
  2. This. Back when I bought 1 pounders id mix the last of one bottle with the next bottle. I chrono'd after each new bottle and not experienced any deviation at the chrono.
  3. Not a straight wadcutte but I recently got a .38 and can't stop shooting SWCs. 158 gr SWC (Bayou) over 3.5 Titegroup. ~1.5" rested at 15 yards out of a 4" 686. Titegroup runs like water through the 550. Accurate and super soft. Doesn't make PF but that's not what I use it for.
  4. I have the Talon rubber and Dawson grip tape. I prefer the Dawson. You can also make your own very easily with a roll of Jessup skate tape and an exacto knife.
  5. I load mine at 3.3 and 1.135 and they will one hole the target.what gun? I used a G34 and tested at 15 yards. Crimp wasn't an issue. No marks on pulled bullets and no key holing. Accuracy was ok but wasn't better than jacketed.
  6. Is there a way to remove the trigger bar? I don't see any pins to push and replacements are sold as a combined (trigger and trigger bar) unit. I have a third party trigger bar and trigger. The trigger bar is highly polished, better than I could polish myself. The plastic trigger is now cracked and should be replaced. Is there a way I can swap a new plastic trigger with the existing bar? New triggers/trigger bars are cheap ($14) and I don't see triggers sold separately.
  7. I finally got a round to shooting a few of these. 1.135 at 3.0, 3.1, and 3.2 (129 PF). 3.2 was the most accurate but it wasn't anything to spectacular. I'll probably use these for plinking and use MGs for matches.
  8. I like the 147s. 147 remanufactured averaged 136 PF (133 min/137 max) the last time I chrono'd it out of a G34. I've shot it at Level 2 matches and chrono'd about the same. It's nice and soft but expensive. Comparable load with TG and 147 MG is about half the cost. At least, that's how I justified buying a press.
  9. 1.135(ish) for 147s in my g34
  10. You're lucky. Look up yesterdog. Great hotdogs and a must anytime I visit Grand Rapids.
  11. I can't speak for Mike Foley but I view rules and classification are the value proposition. Without a uniform body (USPSA) you'd just have a bunch of run and gun outlaw pistol matches with varied rules from match to match.
  12. It's a Glock, not a show piece. I just wipe mine down with a rag every once in a while and clean ever few thousand rounds. I love TG. It's dirty but it's cheap and performs well.
  13. I've had a Nova for years. It's great. Supernova wasn't available when I bought mine years ago. While I can't imagine it makes s huge difference, I'd buy the comfort tech stock today.
  14. I've run both in PROD but I prefer the 34. The difference between a 17 & 34 is negligible for someone of my skill level: same frame, same warren sights, only slight longer radius with the 34.
  15. Thank you. I'll start there and work up.
  16. Yes, I have plenty of jacketed loads for TG and 147s. You mentioned my exact MG & TG load. I've never loaded plated and figured since this is a common bullet (and they sponsor a lot of matches) someone would have load data for this specific bullet.
  17. I came into a lot of 147 HP Rainiers and I have a lot of TG. Any specific loads that you will share?
  18. Keep in mind he's the 5 time champ... I have a limited shooting budget. I justified the course by skipping a large match. I think it was worth it. I came away knowing where my weaknesses where and how to work on fixing them. Unfortunately, there are no shortcuts. You still need to out in the work.
  19. Follow the link to the calendar. You can shoot USPSA 5-6 times a week with a one hour drive or less from you. I live not far from you -- I prefer Pine Island. The season is almost over but in nearby Burnsville a 2 bay indoor league will soon start to get us all through the long winter.
  20. Same happened to me this week so I'm interested in the responses you get. I didn't see the high primer when gauging but after the round didn't light off I inspected and the primer was clearly high. Do the primer pockets loosen up?
  21. What dust? I tumble outside with corn cob. It's good to go and doesn't require a half days work to process 1,000 pieces. I do envy the clean insides of wet tumbled brass though.
  22. Same with power factor, right? No one chronos at Level 1 so just go sub-minor amiright?
