  1. I bought the 40 version for something different, I have no plans to compete with this gun. I paid right at 2K for this. I've already own a few S2, DWX, TSO among other nicer/higher end 9mm pistols. I prefer the TS2O over the TSO, I find the grip more comfortable and the higher placement of the safety levers is really growing on me. And yeah, that S2C is a great pistol too, as soon as JM custom releases holsters it will replace my p01 as my carry piede
  2. I should have bought the 9mm version also when I got the 40. Dan Wesson can't supply enough DWX, CZ can't supply enough S2C or TS2O. Nevermind the nonexistent parts.

    PCR rear sight

Cz custom HTAC rear sight. Despite what some people say, the pcr shares the same rear dovetail as the regular 75.
  4. So I have a few CZ compacts with extremely short leades, one would require around 1.020 with 124 RMR mw. Called Manson reamers, told the tech my issue he replied are these CZ barrels. Anyways got my reamer today the part code is T35P item description is 35 caliber pistol solid pilot throated. Just double checking I got the right one. Thanks
  5. Looking for a carbide cutter that is wider then the standard dillon cutter. Bought a milled toolhead and a CH4D 30 carbine dillon trim die now I can trim 30 carbine brass with the 1200 on my 650. Works so great I bought a 44 mag Dillon trim die and cutter is too small to trim the brass, so am looking for a cutter insert big enough to trim 44 mag. Thanks for any help.
  6. Title pretty much says it all which Lemi shine are you using? Just bought a Frankford rotary, which is awesome by the way, got some lemi shine and the results kinda suck compared to the solution included in the Frankford kit. I got a yellow liquid which had "lemi shine rinse" on the label. The only other one I can find is a powdered lemi shine, is that the one I want? Also came across this, same solution in the kit? http://www.cabelas.com/product/FRANK...0#BVRRWidgetID Thanks...Eric
  7. I really want to get into this round looks like allot of fun. Found this guy on Youtube and on various other forums posting about the 22 tcm.
  8. Wanting to start loading for my M1 30-06 on a Dillon 650. Mainly be using 4064 and 4895 for the Garand and 4350 for my bolt guns cambered in 30-06. The Dillon PM is great for ball, stick powders, well it leaves much to be desired. Looking for suggestions on a powder measure that can handle 4064 and 4350 and be mounted on a progressive press. I don't shoot in matches or competition and have no desire to weigh each charge so am not interested in a RCBS charge master. I've been thinking about getting a Redding 3BR or the BR30. How well do they throw 4064, can the BR30 handle the 30-06 charge weights? How about a Harrell? I do understand if I mounted a Redding 3BR to the Dillon the powder measure will have to operated manually which is not a problem, just looking for something that can mount to a press and throw stick powers. Thanks...Eric
  9. Well, finally got a chance to look over the primer punch. The actual punch sits above the bushing probably a good 1/16 of inch. Just made a call to Dillon and they got a new one sent my way. The guy I spoke with said the springs do wear out, my machine is only 2 years old with about 3-4 k worth of ammo.
  10. My 650 started doing something very similar recently as well when running 223 brass with just a Lee decap die. The brass would get cocked at an angle on the aluminum case locator, sometimes it would fly right over the locator. Dillon sent me a new case locator, fixed the problem slightly. What I ended up doing is reversing the slide cam to the pistol side rather then on the rifle side. Noticed as the handle moved down the whole assembly that slide back and forward would tend to pivot as the slide cam moved past the arm that drops cases. With the slide cam on the pistol side the assembly doesn't pivot like it does with the rifle side.
  11. Guys, I have a hopefully easy question. The primer punch located under station 2, is it supposed to be screwed in tight against the platform? I've had my 650 for 2 years and loaded several thousands of rounds but never really noticed it before. Then last night getting ready to start on some 223 I noticed the primers were not getting sited in the primer pockets. I noticed the primer punch was loose almost to the point of being completely unscrewed. Tightened it up against the platform but now the primer disc wont turn because the punch when tightened down sits about halfway into the disc. The only way to get the primer disc to turn is to loosen the primer punch back it off several turns, is this normal? Thanks...Eric
  12. I haven't fully loaded any complete rounds yet. When I noticed this after doing several on the Lee size die I stopped because to me it doesn't seem correct that the die would basically shrink the casing. The press am using is a Lee reloader that I got from Midway for 25 bucks, didn't see much point in spending much on a single stage as I want to move into a 650xl when I get a handle on the process. Some of the brass I get is from buddies who shot Glocks and also random range brass. The glock brass when checked against my case gauge and empty barrel won't fit, so the Redding GRX die which is a push through die and removes the "Glock Budge". After going through the GRX die the brass is straight and measures .421-.422 the entire length. After going through the Lee sizing die the brass measures .417 until near the primer pocket and the case measures .421. So the Lee size die is basically necking down the case .004 and leaving a ring around the primer pocket. Am a total noob to reloading but this doesn't seem right to me so I never went any farther in the process...Eric
  13. My first attempt at reloading and I have a question that I can't seem to find in any forum search or reloading books so am hoping you guys can help me out. A little background, am loading 40 S&W using Lee Carbide dies on a cheap Lee single stage press and have run the brass through the Redding GRX die. Now for the question, I ran the brass through the Redding GRX "glock budge" die and then re sized on the Lee die. After resizing I noticed each case near the web or primer pocket had a ring around it. I measured several casings and right at the web or primer pocket it measured .421-.422 but as you moved up towards the mouth it measured .417 on each case. Is this normal for the resizing die to shrink the casing like that and leave that budge around the primer pocket? It seems no matter how the die is adjusted I get the same result. I come from an electrical engineering background and to me this just doesn't seem right that the resizing die would re size the brass .004 smaller then what the spec books say and leave a ring around the primer pocket. Thanks for any help...Eric
  14. Hello neighbor from Overland Park, for the person asking where is Prairie Village it's a burb of the Kansas City area. I too shot 40 and looking to do some matches...Eric
  15. Hello my name is Eric, been reading the site for about a month or two and finally decided to join. Am new to reloading, have some equipment bought and just started going through the process. Am just currently loading 40s&w and at sometime start loading for 9mm and 223/556. Bought my first handgun(FNX40) this February but have been around shotguns and muzzle loaders my entire life and looking into doing shooting competitions. Looking forward to expanding my knowledge base from the fine people on the site...Eric
