  1. With .40 S&W 180gn JHP and FMJ availability being at an all time low......does anyone here have a load using Tite Group powder for 165gn FMJ's to make USPSA major that they'd care to share? My gun is a 5" Brazos Custom and I shoot in N Texas. Many thanks in advance.
  2. I know this question is a little 'off topic'......but I'm just curious. I spent 38 years in that beautiful country enjoying the hunting freedoms that it provides before coming home in '04. I know there are IPSC matches in both the North and South Islands....and maybe 3 gun as well. I'm kinda curious about the hoops and restrictions that Kiwi shooters have to deal with in owning the handguns and MSSAs required. Stay cool.
  3. Hi James. What kind of shooting are you considering getting back into? IDPA.....USPSA? I'm in NW Ft Worth and shoot USPSA. I'm new to handgun sports myself and have been shooting at local matches since May. I've found the fellowship and camaraderie of the shooters that frequent these matches outstanding and they've helped me immeasurably. Great matches...great fun and great people. Stay cool.
  4. Roger that. DTR is just west of Wichita Falls Yes....DTR is a 'regular' monthly shoot for our group of hard core shooters from DFW. Johnson County is the first Saturday of the month followed by Cresson on the second, Waco on the third and DTR on the fourth.
  5. Yes sir....I was at Double Tap this last Saturday. Father and son in the squad....Walter and Brandon by any chance? I had a great day....fun shooting with awesome people!
  6. Hi...my name is Mike and I joined the USPSA this last May. While I'm totally new to handguns I have a reasonable association with rifles having spent 38 years hunting game and varmints in New Zealand before returning here in 2004. I have nothing but the highest regard for the camaraderie and fellowship that the USPSA shooters have extended me since joining. The help and instruction have been outstanding!
