I would suggest trying to find each gun and shoot it to see what feels the best for him in both recoil and how it points/transitions for him. I Went with an HP EDGE from Brazos and couldn't be happier.

I have grams spring and followers in mine and get 20 reloadable but I have a couple Taren's on the way so I'll be able to compare.

I talked with Bob @ Brazos and he suggested 1.2 for my edge. That OAL and 200gr bear creek I never had an issue.

Just my two cents but I got a M&P 22 and it runs like a champ, it takes all kings if ammo, even the cheap bulk pack and doesn't hesitate. The reason I say dedicated 22 is because their cheap and in the MP22 case it runs on the cheap easy to find ammo not the expensive high velocity which now a days is getting hard to find.

When you say, knock the back edge off, you mean to file down the feed lips right?

I finally bought a mag gauge and was hoping it would come with an instruction but didnt, and was wondering if the back of the mag has to be flat against the back or if it just has to fit under the top, i attached a couple pics so you can see. Any help would be great! Thanks.

Hey, I have a Brazos Edge that came with his lightning rod and i really like it, it has three posts, 2 that hold the fiber optic and one more in front of the fiber optic that when your looking down the sight no matter how your fiber optic rod install was done (i mean when you burn the rod to make it stay in place) the extra post gives you a perfectly round and crisp sight picture. I don't have any experience with the Dawson but a buddy of mine who has had a few of his seems to really like it, so I'm sure either way you go you'll love it, but count me for suggesting the Brazo's. Hopefully this helps.

I also have a midway bag. I bought it when I was new to the game and swore it was a great bag. But then I got my hands on a Shooter's Connection bag. Brother there is no comparison. The midway bag is not a "bad" bag. It's just that the SC bag is sooo much better. SC bags are more like luggage. As a matter of fact I just bought a new SC bag the other day. I went with the full size bag this time since I now use a cart to tote my stuff around the range. Thanks Sarge, i guess when my Midway bag meets the end of use ill have to look at picking up one of the SC bags.

I have the Midway Compact Competition bag and my friend has the Midway Full size competition bag and we both shoot weekly if not a couple time a week, lugging these bags around they have held up amazingly, constant use for the last 5 months and the look and feel like the day i got it. Does anyone know if the 126mm tube with the DP Para base pad will fit into an edge with a magwell on it? Thanks.

This is the exact load ive been using, PD 124gr JHP over 4.1gr of N320 with an OAL of 1.125. Ive tried TG before the VVN320 and must say i think i like the N320 better. Hope this helps.

Hey guys, I've been reloading for a little while now and been running a 124gr Precision Delta JHP over 4.1gr of VVN320 and been getting really good results in my Glock 34, but unfortunately PD is so back-ordered right now I had to buy some Bear Creek Moly to hold me over till i can get the others. I'm wondering if someone has some load data with 135gr moly and N320? I appreciate it in advance! **I did do some searching but couldn't find anything.
