  1. Hi all, very sorry if this is the wrong place for this. I am a new member and owner of a new (2011) full size 40 S&W Baby Eagle / Jericho . This gun is great, I love how it feels and shoots. I have had NO failures to feed since I got it last march (2012) . But it seems like the last round of almost every mag is getting chewed up and sometimes just falling out of the mag well when I take the mag out. NO JAMS just the last round ejecting weekly or not at all. I do not have to physically pluck them out. Usually they ether eject, or fall out the mag well when I take out the mag. They are not getting stuck. The slide locks back every magazine as it should. Just to be clear though all the rounds ARE Chambering. I still have had NO FTFs just WEAK EJECTION on the last round ONLY. No stove pipes either. Anyone have any Idea what it could be? Only thing I can think is that the follower is coming up and knocking the case from the extractor before it gets fully stroked to the ejector. I have don the extractor trick of holding a round and shaking. its nice and tight. Oh yeah a few shooters at the range have commented on haw far it tosses the brass. its uniform but a good 10-12 feet back. don't know if that is a sign of anything. Thanks in advance for any help, Nomad
  2. Hi all, I am a young full time student on a very limited budget. I have been saving up for a .22 lr kit for my center fire pistol. In the time that I have been saving I have gotten pretty low on center fire ammo and I am now thinking I may want to just get a case of x39 for the same price. I just wanted to get some opinions because I am pretty indecisive, and I wont have the money to buy a case again for a few more months. I am at under 200 rounds for my center fire rifle and pistol respectively . The conversion is an EAA witness conversion going onto a Jericho, if that makes a difference to anybody. Thanks for any input, Nomad
  3. Great work on the firing pin Kneelingatlas. I called cajun gun works a while back and he said he made a reduced power firing pin, but i didnt know the cz spring was different length. cool to know that the 13# is 100% in your gun maybe ill pick one up.
  4. Has anyone had light strike problems with the RP mainspring/hammerspring in their BE/941 ????? I heard people have had a lot of problems with the 13# and 15# in there Cz's...... thanks for any input in advance.
  5. I personally don't. I believe these photos are from the mid 90's and I do not think that Kahr/Magnum Research IND. import these variants to date. You could always check out Henningsshop and EAACORP and customize a Jericho with the available mods from them! Hope this helps. If you find out if and/or where you can, in fact, acquire the comp models or other variants, please let us know!!
  6. Yeah man, I really appreciate it. I stumbled across this thread while googling the pearce mag extenders . I wanted a cheap alternative to the Mac-gar +2 mags, and I think this definitely qualifies as cheaper since its free haha! I just really wanted a second or third opinion on the reliability of this modification since I've only ever seen it here. And because I know that I can get a pearce or mec gar +2 adapter for 15-20$ which I know will give me the extra rounds .On the same note If this mag mod turns out to fail it would cost me 15-20$ for a replacement follower and then Id only be back to where I was to begin with. It's a bit of a gamble, but you have reassured me. I will see if I can get 14 out of one of the red follower mags I have. Maybe cut out the dimples on the 41AE mag. Oh, I tried what you sad and I put my already modded follower and spring into one of the flat sided mags and still was only able to get 13. One more is better than None more though! haha! Thanks again for all the help and feed back.
  7. Thanks a lot for the feed back, vous! I am not so much concerned with the "dimple" mags because have not been 100% reliable to begin with. My main question is; Is this mod 100% reliable with the red follower, factory, Magazines ??? How have they functioned for you??? I have not had a single malfunction from my factory mags, and I don't want to compromise that reliability. I also don't want to fork over the $40-$60 for 14 or 16 round mags... yet
  8. So, I know this is a dead thread but maybe someone is still around. I tried this "mod" on one of my black follower, 41AE, mags with the "dimples" on the bottom. I WAS able to get ONE more round out of it but only one. I haven't tested it at the range yet and I want to be sure it works before I try it on my red follower factory T mags. Anyone here can vouch for the reliability of these modded followers ??? (done correctly of course) I see that gunslingerdk did it with his 9mm but how did it function in the field??? How has it worked in the years since the last posts????? I hope some one can help
