Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. A big round of applause to Jeremy, Dan, and all those that helped out for another great match. With the rain they really had to scramble to get in touch with the Friday shooters and get them squadded to shoot Saturday, and still get it all done. Great sponsor support and prize table, and the hog was even better than last year. Looking forward to next year already and so is everybody I spoke with
  2. A great job by Dan, Jeremy, George, and the staff. Really enjoyed the stages, and the RO's and staff did a great job moving all those squads through the stages on Saturday. Oh, and don't forget lunch - the best part of my day, no mikes. Look forward to next year already, and the Jabs match in a couple of weeks. That was a fun match last year
  3. I certainly hope and actually believe that Mosher and BPSA will hold a L2 match whether it be this year or next or whenever. I think we have a lot of LA shooters that shoot MS matches and vice Versa and with the popularity of both the Classic and the Gator, another L2 match in this area would be great. Came back to this thread to see if there was any update regarding the match and registration process/status. Wasted about 45 minutes of my life that I will never get back. If he does have a level 2 for a state championship, I will never shoot it as long as he is involved. A piece of wood is not that important that I would support someone who's conduct is detrimental to the sport. In my opinion, the USPSA organization should ban people who make false accusations an attack people to foster their own agenda. I hope I get into the Classic, and that they have sausage this year
  4. The price at Arthur Brown was just to good to pass up so I've ordered the Volquartsen upper, and grips were on sale also, so the process begins. Thanks so much for the heads up on the price ksf141. They were great to deal with and would certainly recommend for anybody thinking about it. They don't carry the ref lower but have ordered, also at a cheaper price than straight from Volquartsen
  5. Thanks ksf141 for your insights. And that is a heck of a price on the LLV upper
  6. Okay - all this talk open Rimfire Open guns in the other thread especially by JD and Hatchet since I shoot with them has got me going. Does anybody have, or shot, both the Tactical Solutions Pac-Lite upper vs. the Volquartsen ? I'm going to get a Volquartsen 22/45 lower but would like some feed back for the upper. I know the Pac-Lite is much lighter and I like the look of the red fluted barrel in the other thread, but would like opinions from those with experience or thoughts on both.
  7. Thanks Bill and Zatchmo for the information. Both very useful. Will try to get my hands on some Autocomp but until then will be using 7625. Appreciate all responses
  8. Thanks Sarge - did the search and read most everything. Maybe I missed some. Like I said, found a couple for major and some for minor using 7625, but am hoping for some more responses
  9. I've spent over 2 hours searching and reading and found one person's load data for 115's and one for 124's, but would like to get more. I started on the darkside a couple of months ago with a 38 super bought from another Forum member, and now have a new Czech Mate coming this week. I've seen mixed reviews about 7625, but that is what I have along with PD 124's. Appreciate from those with experience. Would also appreciate data such as OAL, fps, PF, pistol. I may be able to get Autocomp also if you guys have info for that. Thanks much and appreciate your time
