  1. I would do a drop test to check your OAL. My glock does not like long loaded 147 FP's. With 147 RN I can load long with out contacting the rifleing. with the FP's the ogave contacts the rifleing to soon and I have to short load them (Not under min spec in my loading manual just shorter than I like). Start long and drop your round in if it fits and cycles you should be good. If your firearm does not go into battery or you get rifleing marks on your lead pill shorten it up a hair until your gun cycles and is happy. (Allways use a verner caliper to double check min. specs) Every new bullet design I get I do this with. Then make notes in my reloading manual for future referance. Hope this helps Chris
  2. I have been shooting BBI 147 flat points with WSF. I have to load them kinda short for my Glock 17 w/Loanwolf barrel. But all 147 flats i have had that issue with. Have loaded friendswood and a few others. Not to smokey and shoot clean. Its also nice to still pay 12c a round for 9mm.
  3. Hello Bill, I live in Ypsilanti. I have been shooting at TCSL (IDPA) I have been checking out places to shoot this winter and I think im going to try out USPSA at Top Gun (I guess it starts in Nov.). Any other ideas for the winter in SE MI?. Oh and what is Motor City Speed Shooters?. I think I heard of that when I was searching for USPSA around here. Are you guys a club? or Group?. Thanks, Chris
  4. Hello, I have been checking out this site for a while looking for info and such. I started shooting IDPA at the start of the spring/summer. And have done some USPSA practice at the IDPA club I shoot at. I just got my Dillon XL650 and am in love with loading. Now that I can afford more ammo I want to check out more USPSA and also do bigger matches. My background is Tournament paintball but I cannot run and keep up with the 18yr olds anymore so I needed a new dynamic sport. I have all ways liked shooting and with Youtube I was able to find out about and understand the shooting sports. (Non shooting family) Right now I shoot a G17 in SSP Im classified as a MM. I hope to meet and compete with you guys some time in the future. Later, Chris
