  1. Used the Team AC basepads yesterday, worked well! I was able to put 25 rounds in them as well.
  2. Took advantage of team ac’s black friday sale, purchased 2. Received them today, I’ll find out on Sunday if they were worth the $100 for two. I did put them together and followed the instructions, but i was only able to load 24 rds for the 24 hour break in period.
  3. Anyone else have more feedback on the Team AC Design Trojan Kit? Black Friday deal is looking good with 20% off.
  4. went through 3k earlier this year on my 750, only issue was high primers.
  5. No issues with Ginex primer on a G34 G3 with a timney trigger. My only complaint is seating the primer, they seem to be harder to seat compared to cci, winchester.
  6. Hey guys, anyone using Universal powder with coated bullets (147 & 125 grs)? I've looked at my lyman's manual, hodgdon's site as well as the search feature here, but do no see anything specific to Universal. Will be shooting out of a g34 & a pcc. Just checking to see if anyone has any baseline loads they would like to share. Thanks!
  7. wow! I guess I'm in it for the long haul, should of ordered two instead.
  8. Just ordered a trigger for my gen 3 directly from timney, anyone know what the current wait time is? I checked a few other vendors and all were back ordered.
  9. A little bit of dry fire on it, will be using it more as we are trying to shoot more matches this year.
  10. Yes sir. The ‘old parts’ have roughly 300-400 rds through it, so not really that old.
  11. Thanks! I’ll put them side by side after work later.
  12. Thanks, i did read it, but my thought was the part i got with the kit should be brand new so shouldn’t be worn (yet).
  13. On another note...I took the original firing pin, spring, firing pin spacer sleeve & cups from my glock slide and installed it on the Brownells slide, the trigger pull feels great, exactly how a stock 34 should feel (I have another 34 with all original parts to compare the trigger to). Is there anything in particular how the firing pin assy should be put together?
  14. Thanks for the info! The Brownells kit included a liner and install tool along with the other parts.
  15. Possibly, but I will double check and report back. Thanks!
  16. I saw that on the site, but several youtube videos state the liner in place from Brownells. I also chatted with brownells on their website, and the person I was chatting with checked and confirmed the liner in place.
  17. Thanks. Going by feel. According to Brownells, the Channel liner is pre-installed. I did look in the hole and it appeared like there was one in there, but I'll double check it.
  18. Did a search, nothing came up. Recently got a Brownells g34 slide with RMR cut and the G17 gen 3 slide parts kit to complete it. With the brownells slide kit, the trigger pull is heavier, like a g17 trigger. When I put the original g34 slide on with factory parts, the trigger is back to normal. Is there something I can transfer to the new slide from the old slide to make it feel like the original g34 trigger pull? Thanks
  19. WIth a budget of $800, you can't go wrong with a Ruger PC Carbine, I shot my first match in 13 years with my Ruger last Sunday and it ran pretty good.
  20. I'm glad I asked, I sill have the old address! Thanks Titan!
  21. I tried calling yesterday, but the line just kept ringing. I'll try again tomorrow on the way up.
  22. Does anyone know if Johnny allows visits to his shop in Reno? I'll be there tomorrow, wondering if I can swing by his shop. Will be ordering a pistol from him in the future. THanks!
