look at cx4 storm, its fast, big mags are cheap and reloads like a pistoel. It just needs a trigger for$200 from seirapop.

My KKM G35 barrel is a little tight on the chamber also so I have to load it a little shorter. Still a very accurate barrel, my Storm lake barrels are not so tight and shoot fine. Both these 40 cal barrels work great on lead bullets.

I shoot a ton of 9mm's in my conversion barrel and a Glock 22(storm Lake). A have also gotten the Glock 35 and run a 9mm conversion for 3gun.(Lone wolf) reliability with this conversion is very good. I do not recall getting any failures. For matches I just load the 40 light and its a very pleasant round. A 175 grain ledn bullet loaded to 130PF is a very soft shooter in production.

Central florida R&P, action ranges, 25,50,100 and 300. USPSA, IDPA, 3gun, plus an hour away in 3 directions are other good matches in Plam bay, Volusa and Frostproof. From Orlando you could find a match every weekend day of the month if you want. Palm bay has rifle ranges to 600 yards. P.S. frostproof has Monster match Nov 2, the best match of the year if you have 400 rounds to blow in one day.

Orando has Central florida rife and pisteol club, its a very good range to join.

I cast my own so I am set on bullets for my Glocks. Small Pistoel primers are a little tight, If I run out its time to run the 21SF for a while. Small rifle primers are not that hard to find, nor is powder. Always keep a keg of bullseye on hand, if I run out of WSF and WST I can always sub in bullseye.

If your center fire gun has a 22 conversion try it. Else try to find a M&P15-22, they are a little light but mostly match how an AR15 handles. I have a 22 upper on my AR15 lower and a 22 conversion on my 1911.

My Glock 22 has run 100% for over a year using cast bullets and the barrel as a gage. Round that fit the barrel just work.

My 4.2gr of BE is with lead 175 GR TC boolit. Its OAL is for my Glock only. For another gun you best OAL is determined by how far out till the bullet hits the rifling.

I like the G22 third gen loaded down for production minor. A 175GR lead running abiut 800fps.

4.2 gr is decent for 40 minor. Easy to shoot and works in the Glock 22 with 175 gr lead.

This is what I run on my G22 for matces. For a carry gun I would go with a 3 dot night site instead.
