I have seen this done in the past, possibly to make it easier to rack the slide when a magazine is inserted. not sure if it is ok or not

I am Ordering a caspian frame to build a L10 45acp pistol and want to know what barrel cut will work best. Witch one is more desirable and why? Advantages and Disadvantages Anybody have an opinion???
