  1. I'm programming this week's action match stages onto the iPad (PS iOS ver. 1.652). The stage I want to define is a fixed time stage with three strings. That's permitted, right? Multiple strings on a fixed time stage is allowed in USPSA? I ask because the iOS version of Practiscore (1.652) will not allow me to configure more than a single string. If I try and trick it by defining the stage type as Comstock and (successfully) give it 3 strings, then go back and change Comstock to fixed time, it changes the number of strings from 3 back to 1 automatically. As though the PS code is checking for that. I haven't defined any targets yet, so it's not a "too many targets" thing. It's the first stage I'm defining on a new match. Any help is appreciated. Bill
  2. I'm trying to program an all steel stage for a match this weekend. Per 4.3.1.4: "Various sizes of metal plates may be used (see Appendix B5), however, metal plates must not be used exclusively in a course of fire. At least one authorized paper target or Popper must be included in each course of fire." There are several poppers, so apparently this is a legal course of fire. The stage also has six no shoot targets. In the absence of one or more paper targets, I don't see a way to record NS hits. I've looked at ios 1.63 and android (NST) 1.2.17; neither has a place to record NS hits. I guess I can use the penalty box, but that is kind of a hack. Has anyone else run into and/or solved this problem? thanks, Bill
  3. I was asked a question today by a competitor, for which I haven't been able to find an answer. See the attached results from EZWin Score for the Baseball Standards classifier (forgive the rough formatting). Baseball Standards is fixed time of course. So there is not really a "time" component to the scoring. Note that for five of the competitors, EZWin Score put a "1.00" in the Time column. The rest of the competitors all have "0.00". I can't see any relation between the score and the 1.00 value. Likewise there doesn't seem to be a relationship to penalties or extra shots. Does anyone know what the significance of the "1.00" is? Thanks in advance. Bill
