It's b/c I "finalized" my gunbuilder, and the 90 day period the shop gives to amend designs has passed. Any changes beyond the 90 days cost $100.
Oke that's different it are cost's you have to pay when you make changes to your build , its not that the different texture have different prices .
that seems reasonable to me .

For me i don't see why a grip with a agressive texture would suddenly cost $100 more than the same grip with another texture .

I still have a V1 , have it for about 2 years never had a problem with it works great .

The DAA Premium and Pro belts are available in 28 "

Mags take standard 2011 sti stuff if it fits an sti mag it will fit sps mag. Would save the money and get sti mags had 4 sps all 4 never ran 100% seems like metal is to soft in them
I have 3 SPS mags two in .40 and one Bigstick in 9/38 and they all run 100% ( bigstick holds 29 rounds in 9 ) .

Thats strange normaly Sauls customer service is one of best there is .

If you fit him tight ( sides/top to bottom ) there is no play at all .
Use some low strength locktite on the adjustment threads for a rock solid feel .

Still very happy with my DAA medium back pack .
-
Look like small frame pannels on a large frame gun to me .
-
Put in arredondo spacers and your problems are gone .
-
Why not just put your "old " Lee die back ?
-
Yep i realy like my Racemaster but like al Open schooters i am a gear freak so now i want the Alpha X .

n350 in 9 major is scary as hell.
3n38, much safer
Why do you think that ?
i agree for 115 grain bullets 3n38 is nicer but if you use 124 grain N350 is the better choise fot 9 major .
-
EGW lightened hammer , EGW sear and disco dropped in my open gun for a 1,5 Lbs trigger pull .
I used my already adjusted "old" searspring .
-
For 9 Major my favorite powders are N 350 and HS6 i like N350 the best ( burns a lot cleaner ) .
this is using 124 grain bullets for IPSC open .
-
For 9 major you load pretty short try loading 1.17 or even longer if this fits in your chamber this will reduce the pressure .
-
I switched from a Tan gold custom ( simular to CZ) to a 1911/2011 platform and for me this feels more natural .
So just shoot both and see what you like more .
-
I have a buddy who can do the same thing , also a lefty with a high verry strong grip .
he could grip the gun so hard pushing the grip safety up it would lock in the up position (my gun was already pinned to ).
i have pinned it stronger now ( longer stronger pin that goes into a deeper drilled hole in the safety ) .

Extra barrel to shoot SS Major?
in 1911-style Pistols

If a lot of people are shooting 9 major out of of 38 super barrel why not shoot .40 out of a 10auto barrel ?
