I load and shot several thousands rounds with no issue. Something went wrong with the LOS bullets. They didn't group very well, too. Anyway I stay with H&N CuHS bullets. Just test a new load for Steel: H&N CuHS 115grs / 8.2 grs RS 24 / S&B SP / COL 1.122" but PF around 144. It's the LOS 123grs. FP/HP bullets. They vary in diameter. I talk to Heribert Bettermann to replace the barrel soon. He mentioned not to use LOS anymore.

I tried it with LOS 123grs FP/8.4grs & 8.6grs RS 24 with OAL 29.3mm & 29.5mm. Velocity didn't increase much, but my barrel is damaged now It blow up a bit, somethere in the middle. I have a second barrel, but wan't crack it, too. Put a smaller version of the comp on it and use a lighter recoil spring. This works fine with H&N CuHS 115grs/5.2grs RS 20/S&B SP/OAL 27,7mm. Will test tommorow slower RS 24 7.6grs & 7.8grs /OAL 28.0mm & 28.4mm. PF will be around 130.

My load was 128gr FP/8.2gr RS 24/S&B SP/OAL 29.0mm. PF 155-160. Grip feels nice, but I got two alternate areas of impact 3 inches spread vertical.

Just found your replies :-) It's a X-Five but both slides have same caliber: 9mm. Shorter comp slide works with sub-minor loads in case longer comp slide wan't work with slow ammunition. I am allowed to reload my own ammunition in Berlin. I use H&N CuHS 115gr and 125gr bullets for the steel targets in my shooting club. Jacketed ammunition is not allowed for these targets.
