  1. I have a Witness Elite Match in 9mm.... If I ordered these grips, would I order the large of small frame ones?
  2. What's it like on weight? I shoot IDPA with a suped up EAA Match and it is always teetering on the ESP weight limit.
  3. I use Dardas as my practice and match rounds. I reload their 147gn 9mm and 180gn .40.... I have been super happy with them and NEVER had a problem. I have purchased a little over 10,000 rounds total from them. They are accurate and reload well. I do believe they make the bullets after you order and don't keep a stock pile. It usually takes about 4-5 days after ordering to get an email saying they shipped them. Then 2-3 days to get them in hand. Good packaging and good quality bullets. I'm Happy... can't ask for more... I have also got a box of their .380 that I reload for the wife's gun. They work well too.

  9. I have always read that 22 pistols in general should be a no go for dry firing. Thats my vote...
  10. I laugh at the look of concern on both of their faces.
  11. So my lady has gone with me to my past 6-7 Matches and last week she told me she wanted me to get her a pistol and the equipment so she could shoot with me in the matches. I have taken her to a few gun stores and had her hold a bunch of guns. She likes some and not others. Then I will take her to a different store and with out her knowing I will have her try the exact same pistols but her opinion changes. This cracks me up. I came clean after some confused looks in her direction and told her all the guns have been the same and she had 12,340,923 explanations of how little details in the grips made each one feel different, and that they were NOT the same. Even though its the same model/same back stap just different store. She never really paid attention to the differences to the actual model she was holding each time because we were focusing on her grip comfort first. She then asked me, "Well what are all the OTHER girls shooting?" and I had no exact answer I could give her. I shoot a Tanfoglio Match with Hogue grips and her hands hardly wrap around the gun. She has medium to small hands I would guess. What are the ladies shooting in IDPA these days so I can narrow down the tons of options out there?
  12. I feel there is a fine line that you have to find between being loose and relaxed or extremely focused. I tend to shoot poorly if I swing to far one way or the other. I try to stay focused until I shoot a stage and then goof off till the last person has shot that stage. This way I am still having fun and not taking it to seriously. If your not having fun you need to quit.
  13. I hope all goes well. Half way done.. I would say its all down hill from here... but that does not sound right in this situation....lol Good luck!
  14. Any one have any good load data on 147 gn hard cast lead in .356" I have alot of Titegroup I could use. Im open to other powders too. Will be using in IDPA and USPSA.
  15. I took a Blade-Tech hoslter for the Match with no rail and took an embossing gun lightly to it on both sides and stuck the gun in it to push out the sides while the plastic was soft. Worked perfect! The trick was to take it nice and slow with the heat so you don't bubble up the plastic.
  16. Most likley the fuel flow was computer controlled to pull that off.
  17. Rail or no rail? Im interested. No rail PM sent to you Nealio
  18. I take my clean wet brass and place them on a towel all spread out and place a little personal heater blowing on them. 20-30 min later they are dry enough to reload. Its not enough heat to Temper the brass.
