Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Weight belts are brilliant for shotgunning. Just Velcro on the loading plates and you are good to go. This is what I am using ->
  2. I just rack them out with left hand while pressing down the silver button with right trigger finger. Same principle as on the M2.
  3. It sure has caught on, just have a look at how the winners at the Italian World shoot 2015 load their guns.
  4. Ambidextrous??? I I wish! I am so much a strong hand loader I prefer to load the gun underarm using my strong hand... useful the rare times you have to start unloaded and have targets on weak shoulder.
  5. A well practiced Quad load is for sure a fairly easy method to gain an advantage over shooters who do not. My guess is that you can save a second per 8 and it adds up quickly on a longer stage. Quad load does require a bit of practice though, but when you have it dialed in it is very smooth and secure ->
  6. You might find it easier to load quads, and generally improve loading speed, if you have a more compact setup rather than having the caddies spread out on the belt with different angles. Many quad loading caddies allows you to load 2 or 4 so no reason really to use the load 2 caddies.
  7. 24 rounds doesn't sound excessive at all. In a pure shotgun match I would say you want at least 24 on a belt. Also if you decide to load on the right shoulder you should adjust your backer plate so it starts mid body and arcs around your right hip in the loading arm range of motion.
  8. Most quadloaders allows you to use to load 2 at a time anyway, so you are better off starting with that and then learn to quadload. No reason not to really. The quads gives you a more compact mount, more ammo less space. Here is a clubmate of mine who uses quad loaders for load 2.
  9. Do a search for Load 12 challenge on youtube. It is a good reference point for fast loading and you will see different gear and techniques in action against the clock. Here is my attempt
  10. We have run them on a few Lvl 1 and 2 IPSC matches, Visibility in bright sunlight is not the best but can of course be overcome with some kind of sunshade. Battery life is great, after the initial sync I put them in flight mode though and I normally see devices returned with 80% charge after a 6 stage match. Remember to switch them on and allow them to do any updates before the match so they dont start doing this when you start them up at the sync. If I can find a portable printer to use for verification purpose then I think we will have a fairly solid electronic scoring system.
  11. I ran into the exact same problem and looking for a solution
  12. I had the same issue, turned out the bolt head pin was deformed. Check it. nr 9 on this pic
  13. Go Pro Hero 3+ mounted to front of cap with cable ties. I barely feel it is there when moving around. Tried the headband before but felt it was too much pressure around head.
