I clean them all then look at them before I put them in my xl650 tube. SPP goes in a pile with other brass to trade/sell.

For my 4"/5" 1911's and Glock 21 I load Zero and Extreme 230gr FMJ at 1.245 with a.469 crimp. Cycles fine in all.

I'm running 4.6gr WST under Zero 230gr FMJ 1.245 and .469 crimp. Very accurate and smooth in my 1911's and my G21. I'm going to try Zero 230gr Hollow Point next. Any one have any WST load data to share on that?

Just ordered some amsoil bearing grease and a mini grease gun. Needed oil for the car anyway.

What grease are you guys using. Need to get one for my xl650 as well

No. Didn't completely tear it down yet. Took off the shellplate and looked around Only made about 300 rounds do far. Looks like I'll be very familiar with the machine soon. Lol I do notice that the position 1 locator(the silver thing the case slides in) rocks up and down

Hoping you guys can help me out. I'm new to reloading and this is my first press. I've spent 2 days trying to fix this. In a nut shell, my press won't index. The pistol slide(position 1) gets hung up on the locator(silver slide case slides on). If I manually free it to slide over the locator to the shellplate the ram goes up and down but shell plate won't advance. I can not advance it manually either. I've tried loosening/tightening shell plate. All began when my spent primer shoot clogged and spent primers built up and wedged in between the pocket in position 1 and the shell plate locking the press. I cleared the primers but now the cases won't advance into the shell plate and the black slide gets hung up on the locator#1. The shell plate also will not advance to next station. I'm wondering if the locator is damaged slightly preventing the case insert slide to bind. But once freed the plate still doesn't advance. Any help is greatly appreciated so I can get back up and running.

What bullet closest resembles the Zero 230fmj? I never see that in my load manuals and it seems a bit more substantial than other 230fmj such as Federal American eagle FMJ bullet.

Supposedly a newer version is coming out. Shows in stock on Frankfords site. Midway should have soon, hopefully less than $75. I'll wait for some reviews first. Not sure how it flips, arranges and drops primers all orientated correctly.

Just looked at Midway's site, says its discontinued by manufacturer.
