  1. I'm sure the videos are out there somewhere, but I've been Googling the internet and searching this forum for an hour and can't find a video specific to the Stock 2 that shows trigger work, replacement of springs, sear & hammer, etc (upgrades). I'm sure they are out there, and probably already posted on this forum, but damn if I can't find them! Does anyone have a link to a video on the Stock 2 that covers any of this? Thanks.
  2. True of all Sig P series and X5 guns. I've got many and they all do that "bounce" off the firing pin. The hammer doesn't stay completely down after striking firing pin.

    Thumb safeties.

And this post was helpful on where to file. http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=62265.0

    Thumb safeties.

I just fit two pairs of thin safeties on my Accu Shadow's last night. Took about 20 minutes for each gun. And that was taking my time doing some minor filing. All you need is a file and some calipers. I was accidentally bumping up the larger stock safeties up just enough to lock the hammer on a few occasions. May not seem like a big deal until you do that a couple times on a classifier. Here is a video that someone posted on YouTube that I found helpful.
  5. As in a discount? That would be sweet.
  6. So, to summarize: Indian > Arrow But I still love shooting my Accu's.
  7. Has the CTS LS-P been Production approved?
  8. bayougump, how many rounds of .40 could you fit in the mag? I assume you have extended mag bases?
  9. Ah, the internet. Make erroneous statements first, worry about facts later.

    Sig P320

Pretty much the same experience I had. And I'm a huge Sig fan. I've got more than a dozen various all metal P series models and some X5's. My all time favorite gun is the Sig X5 L1 .40. I compete with a CZ Accu Shadow with a Mink trigger job, so to be fair I think that gun has ruined me on all other competition guns. And the P320 I shot was all stock, which also didn't help in my evaluation. Yes, I did like the P320. But the way the gun has been talked up and people saying they are switching from a Shadow, Stock II or III to the P320, I guess I expected something pretty special. It's an innovative gun, and with a good trigger job I can see this gun being very competitive. In my opinion it didn't shoot any better or worse than any other polymer gun I've shot (XDm, Glock, FNS, M&P). Very good gun for the price, but it didn't convince me to give up my Accu Shadow.
  11. I got mine. Both my Stock 3 and my Accu Shadow fit in it just great. I added the extended, hand adjustable screws and Boss Hangar. I have to tighten it just slightly for my Stock 3, have it just a little looser for the Accu. But it works great for both.
  12. There are four Stock 3 9mm's currently listed on Gunbroker, with highest listed price at $1129. A new in box Stock 3 9mm sold on GB yesterday for $965. A lot of Stock 3 9mm have sold over the last few months. Seems to be a steady supply of Stock 3 9mm's are now available.
  13. Seems like a decent number of Stock 3 9mm's are hitting the U.S., but still very few Stock 2 9mm's. Or maybe the same number of Stock 2 9mm's are hitting our shores, but are already spoken for so not listed for sale?
  14. The retention is not great on the BladeTech holster for the Shadow right out of the box, but if you remove a little amount from the rubber washers (make them slightly more thin, or just replace them with thinner rubber washers) and use the hand adjustable screws the retention can get very tight.
  15. I agree. I've been running a BladeTech on my Boss Hangar since last year with my Accu and it's run great. Not a single issue of any kind.
  16. TechNet Armory has been listing them on GunBroker, too. They sold three Stock 3 9mm on GB yesterday. They sold pretty quickly.
  17. I still think if someone made a VZ style grip for the Stock 2 or 3 with aggressive diamondback pattern it would be a big seller (in case any grip manufacturers are reading this thread).
  18. Max Michel just announced on his Facebook page the Sig Max 1911 in .40s&w is finally being released. Should be hitting dealer shelves anytime, according to Max.
  19. Looks like the stages for the IL Sect are posted on their Facebook page. Going to be a fun match to shoot.
  20. I've also got a Stock 3 9mm that I'm definitely wanting to upgrade the trigger and possibly improve the reset. This has been a great thread, but i think the more i read the more confused i get about which hammer, firing pin, springs, etc, that I should install? Should I get the one piece sear, the CGW Type 3 Disconnnector, etc? Could someone simply itemize a list of all the specific parts (what they believe are the best parts) that are needed to upgrade/improve the Stock 3 trigger and reset? No explanation of fitting needed, or where to polish, just simply an itemized list. I would REALLY appreciate it! Thanks.
  21. Thanks for the link. I just emailed them, too, requesting they make some VZ Diamondback grips for Stock 3.
  22. I have given that consideration, using the grip tape over the wood grips. I was hoping to find some VZ diamond grips or something similar, but it looks like that option just isn't available. I'm just surprised that with the popularity of the Stock 2 and 3 that there aren't more grip options available. I know availability is an issue, but I'd think there are enough in the market that someone would make a VZ style or G10 style grip. Does anyone know if the Hogue G10 EAA Witness grips will fit the Stock 3?
  23. I've got a set of the Extreme grips, but they are too narrow/slim. The stock wood grips are thick enough but aren't aggressive enough. This has probably been asked before, but I can't find the thread if it has. Is there anyone that makes a VZ version grip for the Stock 3? Or a G10 type material? I've searched all over the 'net but can't find anything. I see that Hogue makes an aggressive G10 grip for the EAA Witness. Will that fit on a large frame Stock 3?
  24. Are you referring to the Springfield/Briley .40 model on Gunbroker? It also comes with 6 mags. I'm guessing Hunter's Trading Post got the gun in on a trade. Looks to be in great condition, but don't know if it's worth the $1495 they are asking. It's been listed for awhile.
  25. I'm guessing the lack of response from frontsightgoeswhere regarding full size SDP and Production model release dates means later rather than earlier.
