  1. Wow some people can't let go.. they were not the same or even similar they were very different not vary different. Maybe next time instead of critiquing an honest and factual response you should spring for a ticket and indulge yourself in participating in a match of this level.. live the dream.. instead of living a life of assumptions.
  2. I did read the thread... I just shared my views and facts from actually being feet on the ground at both matches and clarified a few comments, and for the record as previously stated, the stages were not reused/recycled from the AHGC match in August. So no one gained any advantage from shooting activators etc.. Anyhow enough said from me on this thread, enjoy the festive season DVC
  3. Hey, no problem I don't often comment or contribute on this platform, in this instance I thought I would share my 1st hand experience's and clarify a few comments. DVC ! And yes, had a great time and connected with fellow shooters with the similar mindsets.
  4. Can you validate this comment please? Meanwhile some guys not only walked the stage before but shot it once. As per IPSC rules which cover the rest of the world, the mandatory 3-minute walk through after stage briefing is applied, no one pre-shot the stages or walked them. And yes, you had 3 x minutes to walk the stage work a plan and then execute when called to the line, with no sight pictures at make ready or stalking in-between the next competitors run.
  5. I competed in both matches and can assure you that the Asian IPSC Handgun Championship stages were not used for the WS stages, the Range was used and similar props on some stages, but they were not identical period. There were stages built at another range that mimicked some of the WS stages that all competitors had the opportunity to attend.
  6. Obviously from lack of comments they have squared away the previous versions issues...
  7. Just reaching out to see how the new generation DPP with the new blue circuit board are holding out any failures as per the 1st generation green boards ? or is this design more robust? Please if you respond lets keep it on track and maybe how its mounted + slide plus round count.
  8. Bench, I picked them up from my local CZ dealer ( who is the CZ importer for Australia) they are EEMANN TECH great product and huge range options.. I only run Federal primers with this set up, with a 10lb Hammer spring I can ignite S&B primers all day long..
  9. I run a stainless guide rod with a 12lb spring a CGW short reset kit etc and with a 9lb hammer spring and a slide milled to take a DPP I have 2 set up the same one has a large round count and shoots flat and uber reliable with 135grn HP Jacketed projectiles at 130+ power factor. I make the under 1 kg for IPSC PDOL if I want to run in that class or just shoot in PDO with the heavy boys, I have a S2OR factory model sitting in the safe unused..
  10. I have two of my G34's done after I reduced and reshaped them .. Easy to do and I am very happy with the new feel and grip .. Plain plastic just doesn't do it for me now ;-)

    Glock Mags

They do which is not a issue , but I didn't want to go down the path over here to acquire them only to find they don't comply .

    LW Slides

I am looking at a new IPSC project and was wondering if anyone has recently ( within the last year) bought and used a LW G34 Slide and if so had any issues ? And could share... I have read reports from years back and I was just wondering if there quality had improved. I currently run a LW Barrel and have had no issues with it. If this could be kept on subject it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance..
  20. Hi Chris how are you finding your X-Calibur , have you had much range time with it ? Any tips on loads etc ? Dave
  21. So with the CGW pin etc installed does that bump you out of PD class in IPSC ? Hi Dave O... Did you want to ask a real question or just trying to be clever? As you no doubt already know, In IPSC production division a CGW firing pin is not legal. In practice at my club I can use whatever pin is suitable for the primers I'm using. I also have a CZ UB extended pin and a couple of CZ UB standard pins which I use in matches with my federal primers. In fact in matches I use the standard length pin as there is no need for the extended pin with federal primers. I keep it as a spare. With harder primers in practice I might use the CGW pin, or I might not. This information was posted as it's helpful to most of the members here who shoot USPSA. No Rich I was just furthering my knowledge on the CZ product and picked up on this thread ... Plus others which may help my Long Slide project . And as this forum has been very helpfull in the past with my Glock(s) set up I thought I would get my post count up ;-) . See you at range in a couple of weeks ..
  22. So with the CGW pin etc installed does that bump you out of PD class in IPSC ?
