  1. While we are on topic with SV grips, do these grips only work with SV mags or are they universal with ST too?
  2. http://www.k8nd.com/documents/hl38sup.pdf
  3. Why not call them and ask? They very well might tell you what powder it is.
  4. Yes, either that or use your old bolt in the new carrier.
  5. Dry fire/dry-drawing from holster do this for about a 30mins a night for a week and you will be amazed how easy you aquire the ability to see the dot instantly. Just repetition and it will come.
  6. I'm using N105 with 124 MG's making major at 10.0gr no holes no pressure signs using SPP. If you can't find 3n38.
  7. I agree with the others too many advantages on an open gun not to have one, and yes get the ball detent one.
  8. Mine wasn't rechromed after the racker installation and it looks fine. Just keep it greased/oiled in there and you wont have any issues.
  9. Does your new barrel have a rifle extension and your upper m4 ramps? This could be happening during feeding. Drop a few from a locked back bolt extract and check.
  10. Change of powder amount is probably not necessary just check with your chrony but as others have stated depending on your powder choice you may get excessive pressure signs when switching to SPP.
  11. Another vote for synthetic motor oil.
  12. Can't answer any of your questions relating to stress on it, but I have the rescomp and it is nice. My hands are kinda small for the 2011 platform so any help reaching the mag release is nice.
  13. Blade-tech has them with lvl2 for the xdm 5.25
  14. I too am looking at that scope, curious if anyone here has used one. ETA: Nevermind didn't see that the price tag was over 3k.
  15. Trijicon triangle if you agree with your buddy on the reticle being too busy.
  16. Midway often has starline brass in stock when starline doesn't.
  17. Check with your local club and see what distance you will be shooting out to. If 200 and less you should be fine with a 1x optic, if more than that may want to look into a scope. Depending on your budget there are a million ways to go. Stag 3Gs are nice and not too expensive, but you should be able to search around and get rifles of equal quality for that same price.
  18. Choke up on it you have more control but less leverage. More control for me meant less screw ups at matches. My index finger is just below the catch tab.
  19. +1 with Vigilante. Check with your local pd, at least that way you have some sort of defense if you ever do have to use the ammo.
  20. I ran that way for 3yrs in 3gun. I found the drums reliability less than desirable, so I just used stick mags and lots of practice reloading. Make sure to load up the mags to full capacity so you get the tension of the round on the bolt. I really didn't do terrible at the matches, but I was never out there to win anyways just to have fun.
  21. Looks good! I chose not to roll my barrel and just start from the top of it. It then in turn will meet at the bottom and smear a bit but no one really looks at the bottom or at least I'd like to think so.
