  1. Nope. I like to target shoot. I have a 40, 45, 308 that I reload for. Also own a White Super 91 II muzzleloader. Im wanting something different to add to my collection.
  2. Would the Ruger Old Army be a better choice? Or should I spend less to start with?
  3. Or would it be smarter to.find a Ruger Old Army used?
  4. Does anyone have experience with these? Are they a fad or could one shoot as much as a semi-auto if wanted? Which brands/models should a newb buy?
  5. Looks like I'll save the $600 bucks and do something else. Thanks
  6. What about some how inserting a SS or tungsten rod tonhelp with weight?
  7. With todays technology and exotic polymers, why can't someone invent a rifle bullet made of plastic? Possibly with some reckon to make it slick. Im sure there's some really hard plastics that could be used. With todays prices it could make for some affordable bullets.
  8. I've always wondered if buying an annealer is worth the money. Does anyone have any experience with the one from Grizzly Gunworks?
  9. Well.... maybe I could buy the dillon but get just what I need to start with. Then add more later on when I have the funds.
  10. Well.... I made the decision. With what I currently shoot, I decided a lee classic turret would be my best option right now. If anyone would like to trade my loadmaster minus dies for a complete turret set up with powder measure and 3 heads, let me know. If not its on ebay as we speak.
  11. For those that use the LnL ap, would you buy the dillon or Redding dies for progressive loaders?
  12. Honestly I do like my Hornady single stage press. My biggest problem is internet overload. I would like a true 5 stage progressive press. The dillon 650 is way out of my budget. I've talked to retailers that sell both and usually they tell me to buy blue and not get nickel and dimed by the Hornady. The dillon seems to include more for the money with the caliber changeovers. Maybe I'll risk it and buy the Hornady. Seems the press has some better options for the money and I do like the ability to add whatever die I want instead of a whole toolhead. With my low round count it might be the better option.
  13. The LCT would be ok but I don't wanna pull the handle 4 times per round. Im use to my loadmaster but would like something less finicky.
  14. I would use Redding or dillon dies with the dillon gage. Varget seems to be a good powder. I use it for 308.
  15. Ive been stuck between the LnL ap or the 550550B. Il probably go with the dillon and prefer through brian e.
  16. No kidding....I have to wait till tax time to make the big purchase.
  17. So confused now.... im planning on a case feeder in the future if our round count goes up. But for now it'll only be the press. Guess I need to find someone who has a LnL ap and check it out. Most retailers I've called and asked about the LnL ap say it nickel and dimes you once you buy all the small stuff that Dillon includes, ie- expanders, primer warning system, etc.....
  18. Im thinking the Choate tactical or one of the ultimate series. I noticed stockystocks has a manners t4 or t4a in stock.
  19. Sorry. Savage model 12 FVSS 308
  20. What's the life expectancy of the LnL ap compared to the 550B? Will Hornady rebuild the press for free like dillon offers?

  22. CMMG AR15 with true 22lr upper and mil spec lower. Very accurate and best of all, it has a mil spec lower for anything except 308.
  23. Looking for a replacement stock for my rifle. Does anyone have experience with the Choate tactical or ultimate series? StockyStocks has the HS Precision for about $375. I don't care about weight because the rifle is used mainly for bench shooting. Thanks for any suggestions.
  24. I see it like this. I'll probably start out with the 550 and then and only then, my round count goes up, I'll buy the 650 and keep both.
