Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I use a teklok on the belt with an attached QLS receiver plate. Those holes line right up and it allows you to slide the holster a little forward or back if you need. Plus the teklok can come off quickly if needed - I have an old man mountain caddy that I could slide on in its place if I really needed extra slugs or something, but I've never had to do that.
  2. Hate that I can't make it this year. Have shot this match since I started shooting 3 gun a few years back. Always a very fun match!
  3. Any way you could post a picture of that? I cant get mine on the belt without putting it at a 45° angle. I keep my QLS receiver plate on a tek-lok attached to my ELS belt.. Holes line right up, and I like to be able to slide my holster slightly forward or back if needed. how do you meet the 2" rule without seriously canting the holster inward? Seems fine. I do have a higher Safariland carry type holster and not a DOH. I rarely shoot USPSA, but I am signed up for a few matches this summer, so I better go measure.
  4. JP light contour paired with ARFX stock for me. I love it! I'm definitely sub-MOA at 300 with 77gr. Theoretically, the heavy barrels will maintain accuracy better after the barrel heats up. I'm no precision shooter, but I can't tell any problems with long range accuracy at the end of a 30 round stage. Edit: using the Seekins 15" flat bottom handguard
  5. I'll need to try this. I have been doing the "side saddle" where my left hip is resting on the roof top. It does work well with wide target transitions.
  6. or just shoot a Glock and shoot production when you shoot USPSA [emoji3][emoji3], j/k
  7. I do have a drag bag for sale in the classifieds if anyone wants one on the cheap...
  8. I love the feel of the CMC flat, the leverage you get on the flat makes it feel a little lighter, at least to me. I've tried both.
  9. Looks pretty cool, looking forward to your review

  11. Not sure, but you'd also have to modify the magazine catch as the recess in the mag is in a different spot
  12. Video looked good, It's snowing in Texas tonight, but weather ought to be good when it's time for SW regional
  13. Is anyone running uncaptured in Gen4? I have an uncaptured in a Gen3 17, but a Jager polymer captured in a Gen4 34. It seems you'd have to use a separate adapter to use an uncaptured in a Gen4. I was going to get rid of my polymer and get a Jager captured steel rod, but was interested what uncaptured rods people may be using in Gen4 34.
  14. You need some Merrell's, no question. They are athletic type fit with hiking boot sole. Won't last quite as long as Red Wings, but dang close, and for your job, they are perfect. They last much much longer than any other "athletic fit" type of boot or shoe.
