  1. This is the way I understand it and this is what happened to me when Single Stack went permanent and they ran the archived classifiers en mass. When the special match scores are turned in, 2 things are going to happen. First the initial classification where the best 4 of the most recent 6 will count. So, we have 75,50,25 (Jun, Jul, Aug) and then the special match happened. Using the high to low sort, the 6 are 75,50,25,90,80,70. Dump the 25&50 you get 78.75% for the initial classification. So the shooter is now an A shooter. But there are a total of 9 classifiers on file so now you get the best 6 of the most recent 8. June (75) is out due to age. So you get 90,80,70,60,50,50 or 66.67%
  2. That is what it looks like in the diagram. i don't see how the center port could be skipped.
  3. It's not the liquid I fear, it's the mud! That stuff is boot-sucking nastiness !
  4. This is how I did something similar for the first Sunday match. Setback defines the shooting area. Some just bent over, some went prone and some went brokeback prone

  6. Nope. The resizing will undersize the bullet and there will be little or no neck tension. Try it.
  7. I worked that match. It was a little chilly in the morning but was nice the rest of the day. I also shot the 2014 nationals there. We were on the late, early, late early relay. It rained late, early, late, early. Probably won't happen this year. We hope!
  8. It sounds like the bullets are getting stuck in the rifling of the barrel. Try the plunk test...
  9. Hi there, Registration for the RO/CRO NROI Academy is available that the links below. We had some inquires about the Steel Challenge and Multigun Seminars. We were told that NROI is working on on-line versions of the seminars and if finished by the time of the academy, they will probably not be offered. They said they are working on SC first. We will have to see how this plays out. https://uspsa.org/seminars/details/174 https://uspsa.org/seminars/details/175
  10. You can find about 600 posts on the subject here:
  11. USPSA will be holding a NROI Academy in So Cal 7/8 December. The classroom work on Saturday will be at the Pala Mesa Resort and the range work will be done at the Pala Shooting Range. This Academy offers both RO and CRO training. I''ll post more details as they come available...
  12. 2.3.1.1 b. The declaration of a Forbidden Action cannot be used as a means of compelling or limiting competitor movement within a course of fire (e.g., to prevent a shooter from “cutting the corner” on an L-shaped shooting area). Except as provided in Rule 1.1.5.1, a course designer wishing to compel, or limit competitor movement must do so using target placement, vision barriers, physical barriers or off-limits lines. That said, all barriers go to the ground (unless stated in the WSB), so what should be done if someone does the under the wall roll?
  13. OK, this has gone personal. I have hid some of the posts. Any more and the thread closes...
  14. Our local outlaw steel match draws more than 4x the local SC match. Just give the mix a try and see what happens.
  15. If USPSA was to provide jerseys to the certified members, cool*. That would have to be enough shirts to cover a multi-day major (3-6 days). Later, Chuck * not the IPSC striped shirts tho
  16. This was quite common when all the open shooters were shooting 38 when the PF used to be 175. They basically reused their brass until the primers wouldn't stay in. I knew of one guy who would tumble his loaded ammo just to find loose primers. He did! The OP may of found some brass that had lived as 9 major in a previous life...
