  2. This Hate rant has turned into a discussion, which is beyond the bounds of the guidelines for the Hate Forum. Thus, it must be closed. Please review the Hate Forum Guidelines: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8097 [Note: this is a generic response]
  3. Where did you get these links? There doesn't seem to be anything on the app, website or classifier calculator. Just curious.
  4. I had a similar thing happening to my rifle. I would occasionally get a failure where the hammer dropped "early" with the bolt in a position that the hammer could not fully strike the firing pin. It turns out that things were getting delayed by the bullet getting hung up temporarily on the sharp corner of the chamber (and also some sharp edges on the bolt face and extractor). This only happened once every 300-400 rounds until I tried a new brand of bullets where the alloy was a bit softer and more prone to cause the delay. The fix was to soften the edge around the chamber and do some smoothing of the edges on the bolt face and extractor. I have one rifle with a feed ramp barrel like HoMiE and one without and they both run equally well. FWIW I use Berry's 115 grain TP bullets. The non-ramped rifle has run for >7000 rounds with only one malfunction. And that was likely do to an issue with a Goliath mag extension, ammo OAL and desert dirt.. YMMV
  5. Prohibited in IPSC, not USPSA. ETA: I recall using it once during my year in Production. It was a seated start and there was about 2 yards of movement to a window to see some 30 yard targets. Other than that, it was easier just to learn the DA shot and/or choose the appropriate first target when possible.
  6. No problem. Access to functions like "move" is limited but anyone can contact a moderator and have something like that done. Merry Christmas and thanks Gng!
  7. Moved the tread to gear and accessories (and fixed the title )
  8. Match points are determined by the sum of the stage points, right? Stage points are determined by: (available stage points)*(Your HF/High HF). Where the variability comes in is the source of the High Hit Factor. Variations in stage winners between overall and production can account for the difference in match placement. This has been traditionally called the "flip-flop" flipflopexample.pdf
  9. Note: Let's keep the subject on reloading or this thread will be closed also. Thanks, ChuckS
  10. From the guidelines: " While the occasional defensive shooting post is not prohibited, in general, defensive shooting discussions or debates are discouraged. "
  11. Only weak hand and weak side are defined in the rules.
  12. We have switched from spikes to lag screws. As long as you have enough batteries for your drills, it is much easier than spikes...
  13. Todd, Just got the box of brass today. The cases look great as usual. And I have to say that your packaging really worked. It looked brand new! Well done! Later, Chuck
  14. I had done work in that past at Hurlburt and I never found anything close by. Tallahassee and Mobile AL were the closest. There may be more now. Check for matches in Practiscore and hit the USPSA Club finder. There is also a thing called Matchsignup.com that they use to manage matches down there.
  15. Funny, I searched for "living cases" and only found this thread
  16. Registration is open. https://practiscore.com/western-states-single-stack-revolver-championship-2020/register (We are good for staff at this time. Thanks for asking!)
