Like most of SoCal, if the hotel is really cheap, you probably don't want to stay there. The Pala Casino is the closest place, really nice but not very cheap. All the usual chains are available in Fallbrook, Temecula and Escondido. Just PM me any place you are considering and I will run it by the guys who live near the range. I am in north OC, so I may not be the best judge.

To take it apart, remove bolt 9 and that will allow you to take off 1. You can then get at the top of 15 which is a hex head screw post that you can turn out. Spring 13 puts pressure on it so watch for flying parts. Last time I took mine apart I found the following: It still worked but not all that well!

Volunteer to work some major matches. They will put you with an experienced crew. At a major, you will experience 200-300 (or more) different shooters. Much different than running the same local guys over and over. Good luck! ChuckS
