  1. I don't think there is a case of DJ here. The shooter gets 6 (10.2.4) for skipping the reload. They also gets 6 for shooting freestyle vs weak hand. (10.2.2) Separate actions.
  2. FWIW, I see the same thing as pmd. I can view and sort, but not delete. I have yet to find any menu that will allow deletion. Perhaps it is a forum option or related the the expiration of edit capability?
  3. It will take a rule change but I would like to see the 2 location restriction eliminated for short courses. We could have some very interesting 12 rounders
  4. I broke one so I emailed a picture to Wilson and they sent a new tube. I used them a lot in L-10 before Single Stack became a division. I had a couple Chips and rarely the metal follower would rock forward and keep the empty mag from dropping.
  5. Some struggled! Our club has a lot of new and inexperienced shooters. doing 30 to 50 yard shots just isn't going to work and from a customer standpoint I just wouldn't do it to them! I have found that a strategically-placed tuxedo or 8 inch plate can trip up the most seasoned shooter. Besides, 50 yard targets would drive the reset time through the roof, especially during hot weather!
  6. We have a couple small bays that really limit what can be done. Typically, classifiers wind up there. I had a brain storm thinking "how about standards with movement". I did the stage below. Start in the middle and first string was one round on each, mandatory reload, one round strong hand. Second string was the same with weak hand for the last 6 shots. I got a lot of feedback, most of which was polite. Many folks said that they had never had to move strong and weak hand exercises. I was kind and kept the long shots full targets.
  7. Blatantly stolen from Facebook:
  8. I'm supposed to shoot/RO the Northern Arizona Classic in September. The last of any major I had planned for 2020...
  9. Got this image from a friend yesterday. The Tonto National Forrest is just north of Rio Salado...
  10. All you need to know is here: https://uspsa.org/pages/about/classification
  11. Prior to cataract surgery, I had pretty strong astigmatism. The "dot" was more like a blob. Smaller seemed to work better at the risk of loosing it in bright sunlight. What I finally discovered was the Delta Point triangular "dot" worked great because I was able to detect the tip in the amorphous blob. I would zero to the tip and shoot the blob at closer targets. ETA: Any dot appeared at least 2x actual size so the trick was to understand what part of the dot was the dot
  12. I either place or throw the rig on top of the other s#!t for 20+ years. Threads that connect Kydex to stuff get blue Loctite. Metal to metal simply get torque. I suggest you try the Loctite and check the shocks on your truck
  13. Welcome to the forums! Here are the guidelines for the classifieds: (Note that it is not just 50 posts that are required ) Later, ChuckS Enos mod...
  14. Talk to Debbie Keehart. https://www.coldwellbankerhomes.com/az/mesa/agent/deborah-debbie-keehart/aid_23461/ Debbie is a long time USPSA shooter and is on the BOD of Rio Salado. She will be able to fill you in!
  15. Here is an example of case weight variation. These samples were the SAME head stamp (PMC) 40 S&W
  16. From the Hate Forum rules: "• If your hate rant has to do with shooting then it needs to be directed towards yourself."
  17. FWIW: There is still CCW stuff for sale at Midway USA...
  18. Blowback rifles are so frigging dirty (no matter what powder and bullet) the filth factor alone should discourage you if the fragging doesn't do it for you. SB has sage advice here!
  19. Thanks! Boy, the 3rd one would use up RO's pretty quickly! Nice stages!
