  1. The MD can simply create a "reshoot" match and score separately. Or maintain the reshoots in the main match and then delete them after the USPSA upload. Or they could simply not allow reshoots! In either case, no software changes are necessary.
  2. The problem is the "etc". It is not a slam dunk. Note: Glock offers a threaded barrel for the 34 Gen 5. That pretty much qualifies as "OFM"
  3. Because of the special condition #5: "5. UNLESS a modification is SPECIFICALLY authorized in the rules or SPECIFICALLY authorized in an official, published NROI interpretation, it is considered a PROHIBITED MODIFICATION." My answer is maybe . You will be at the mercy of the RM of the match. Note that Special Condition #5 does not include an internet post or email from Troy.
  4. Yet another victim of stepped brass. Search the forums and you will learn all about this crap. Look at this thread for possible solutions to your current problem:
  5. My first press was a late 80's 550 that I got from a fellow shooter. The round count was "a shitload". The crank was the only part that broke. Other than the hinge pin for the primer chute and keeping the primer bar moving smoothly, the press worked great. It was replaced with a 650 in 2004. ETA: And yeah, they sent me the part and alignment kit and it was easy to get back together...
  6. From the guidelines: https://forums.brianenos.com/topic/8097-hate-forum-guidelines/ "• In general - The Hate Forum is not for venting about anything to do with anyone or thing that hits close to home here." Closed. PS: If you need to type "I hope this is legal" , stop typing and go to this link please: https://forums.brianenos.com/topic/8097-hate-forum-guidelines/
  7. They are calling it Extra Shot, but it sort of rules independent. Say a stage has 24 required rounds and you get 23 hits and a mike-no shoot. Since there are unique entries for the mike and the no-shoot, the the straight total would be 25 or 1 (what they call) extra shot. I showed them an example of this (in a match that was all Comstock as Richard would approve ) If for some reason you are interested in this, you can follow the discussion at: https://community.practiscore.com/t/es-column-on-the-what-if-webpage/1028/3
  8. The thread is about "40 Cal open". Lets not rehash your theology on coated bullets.
  9. You may want to visit this near 600 post thread on the subject:
  10. You are welcome! Good luck with the class.
  11. Nope, never said that. Prior to getting the KISS, my .40 reload setup was this: 1) Dillon size and decap die 2) Lee U-die (& prime) 3) Powder measure 4) Seat 5) Crimp I used to occasionally get cases that were too distorted to enter the U-die and would get crushed or just stop the process. The Dillon die was more forgiving. This worked for many years and the other benefit was that there was only one transition from powder to bullet seating so there was less spilled powder. When I got the KISS, the powder measure moved back to #2. I never used a powder check,
  12. There used to be a forum bug that did that but I was fixed Feb 2019.
  13. As per a conversation with Ken Nelson about two hours ago. Carrying on...
  14. I am not sure where you heard that but USPSA has zero ownership interest nor any contract with Practiscore. Practiscore is completely independent.
  15. Stake the chair to the ground. (Just good practice to keep the start position from moving during the match!)
  16. Embrace freestyle! "Seated on chair" is a perfectly valid start position. Some folks will try some high risk stuff. If it works, all the people who shot before them will be pissed that they didn't think of that and some may want to blame the stage designer. The shooters following the stunt, may try it also. It may not work for them . I ran a stage at a level 3 match that used that start position along with unloaded firearm on table. There were more than 400 shooters at that match. I saw some real goofy s#!t. People were doing all kinds of sorta-sitting positions with hand hovering over the hardware. All sort of interesting things happened but in retrospect, the guys who did what they have practiced and used 100's of times got the best start on the stage. Like this JJ guy.
  17. Personal attacks no bueno. Go enjoy Independence Day.
  18. This just in: https://www.mannystomppad.com/

  20. He probably would of used some if the rules allowed it!
  21. At about 69.5, I totally agree with Mike. Also, he showed some amazing tact for the internet. "seasoned shooters"
